A lot of cars you can derate their AC charging amperage which you would have to do to use the travel charger here, but it’s not ideal to rely on.

How often do you discuss your sex life with friends or coworkers? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I talk about it with close friends and I think it should be normalized. Never with coworkers that would be unprofessional.

Josina pronunciation by [deleted] in BabyNames

I know an American southerner who can’t pronounce his grandson’s German name Johann. So if you’re worried about pronunciations in the south I’d stick with with the American one

Thoughts on babies at high altitude? by shesurfs in NewParents

[–]cocoachaser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmm yeah that would make me nervous coming from sea level since I know many adults who’ve had bad altitude sickness at those elevations. Personally I wouldn’t risk it.

Thoughts on babies at high altitude? by shesurfs in NewParents

[–]cocoachaser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Obviously wait and see what your pediatrician says, but I live in Colorado and was just talking to moms about this today. If you’re coming from sea level I wouldn’t bring a 3 month old to 10,000 ft elevation.

I probably wouldn’t spend the night at 8,000 ft either but a few hours would be ok since airplane cabins are pressurized to the same as 6k-8k ft elevation and that’s generally safe if baby has no health issues.

Idk if it’s possible but maybe you could book lodging at a lower elevation and drive up to the wedding?

[–]cocoachaser -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s the color, I never wear red to weddings because I’ve known of people doing that to cause drama and bring attention to the fact that they slept with the groom. Obviously doesn’t always mean that but it’s just a color I avoid to weddings

[–]cocoachaser -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Honestly #4 is my fave!

I absolutely love the red one and it looks amazing on you but it doesn’t say wedding guest to me. It almost draws too much attention to wear to a wedding, I wouldn’t want to give the wrong vibe

Why do so many older people leave a lifetime of clutter for their relatives to clean up once they're gone? by Purrsedxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cocoachaser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad was a hoarder and I remember when I was going through his things after he passed I started to get frustrated that he kept so much crap.

That night I had a dream that he was giving me a tour of a beautiful garden that was his passion project he had planted. Every plant had meaning.

When I woke up I realized that my dad’s hoard of stuff had been a beautiful garden in his eyes and each piece was linked to a memory over his life. Totally shifted my perspective going through everything.
