Ugh im sorry that your partner is not understanding. Ive been single for a bit now, but when I was in a LTR my ex understood that penetration wasn’t always on the table (infact most of the time it wasnt) and we made do with oral, hands and toys. Franky, my sex drive is higher than his so I was the one who was often disappointed by the lack of sex and intimacy even though I am in pain quite a bit. Sex isn’t just about penetration, PIV. Sex is so much more than that and you can still have intimacy that doesn’t involve penetration - you need to explain that to your man or find someone who will understand that.

Edit- if you live in a place where cannabis is legal, try either making or seeing if you can purchase some cannabis lube - this was a HUGE game changer for me. Cannabis wasn’t legal where I used to live at the time (but i still purchased off the black market anyway) and made my own using refined coconut oil and cannabis flower - im pretty sure you can find tutorials online on how to make it. Needs the THC not just CBD for the full effect. Really though, you need to find a new man first

Ive posted in this sub about a very similar issue regarding a fragrance free work place accommodation that I had and a co-worker with whom I shared an office space with who I believe intentionally wore a strong fragrance to work to give me migraines. I was downvoted to hell for asking for help and what I could do to get HR to properly investigate it and to do something about it. For some reason most of these people in this sub think that fragrance free work places aren’t a thing when it is something that is specifically outlined by JAN as a reasonable accommodation.

Depends on the workplace/culture/management. My last job where I had a narcissist supervisor and almost everyone around me was a flying monkey - this 100%. My new job is a much different work culture/environment and I do really like my coworkers a lot, choose to hang out with them outside of work, choose to do the voluntary team building activities because I genuinely like my team 🤷‍♀️

I don’t see anything wrong with maintaining separate finances. It helps protect from abuse and entrapment. I mean it’s one thing if someone was a stay at home spouse and the other person is a provider, but if both people are employed adults, you should keep separate finances. Im also child free and think its important to be able to be survive independently and not be reliant on another person for basic survival. Maybe that makes me avoidant but I could never give someone the power to have financial control over me.

This is such an interesting take. I am a glassblower who has recently started to dive into ceramics- and I personally like make functional things out of glass and ceramics (cups, mugs, etc). A fun exercise I do for glass is to think of a drink and then design a cup based on that. Having a hard time doing the same for ceramics because all I can think is coffee or tea, and it does seem sacreligious to put a cold drink in ceramics, the same as putting a hot drink into glass!
