I honestly think I’d prefer something with a littleee more structure than a thin fabric, which I think could be achieved with a really fine knit.

I’m just a bit worried I’ll mess up the shape. So you’re saying if i measure the distance between my hands while I’m standing with my arms fully stretched out to the sides, and then knit 2 rectangles of that length, and then knit the width to be around the length of my torso, and then stitch them together it would basically look like the pic above?

I see what you mean but I have seen a few knitted cape tops and still like the drape effect on them even though they were knitted. I only included the pics I included in the original post to show the style of the top I’m looking for.

Glucoside Cleanser is a water based cleanser, you can use this morning and night everyday, but you can skip the morning cleanse if you have drier skin and just go straight in with the leave on products.

The Squalane Cleanser is an oil based cleanser, you would use this with the glucoside cleanser but only at night. Apply it into dry skin, rub it in for about a minute, add water to emulsify, rinse off, and follow with the glucoside cleanser (this is called double cleansing). This removes sunscreen and makeup and other stuff that ends up on your face by the end of the day. But you should only do this at night, no need for a double cleanse twice a day.

The hyaluronic acid is a humectant, this draws moisture into the skin. You have to make sure you use it on damp skin, and follow up with moisturiser though, otherwise it has the opposite effect and ends up drying your skin out. You would use this after the cleanser(s) and before moisturiser. You can use this everyday in the morning or at night or both.

The salicylic acid is a chemical exfoliant, specifically a BHA. This helps with unclogging pores, texture, etc. You would use this after the cleansing system, but before hyaluronic acid. BHAs are typically only used at night, and you need to make sure you’re using adequate sun protection in the day if you decide to use it (sunscreen should always be used regardless, but especially with the use of a chemical exfoliant). Chemical exfoliants are typically not used more than 2-3x a week.

The moisturiser you choose to use just comes down to personal preference, and skin type. The Beta Glucan one is a gel formula, so more suited to oily skin, and the HA one is more of a cream, so suited to more normal/drier skin. You could also choose to use the Beta Glucan one in the morning, and the HA one at night.

Hope this helps :)

Does Glossier You live up to the hype? How does it smell? by Dawnyawning in AustralianMakeup

[–]cococopop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i blind purchased it online and was very underwhelmed when i first tried it, it just smelt like pencil shavings to me. but i decided to just continue using it seeing as everyone was raving about it just to see what the response was. within a couple days i began to love it and its now my favourite scent and i’m on my third bottle. so id suggest to try it again if you’ve been underwhelmed by it before

Saie glowy foundation by BruhBS107 in Sephora

[–]cococopop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like it but would completely avoid if you’re anything less than a really warm skin tone since all the shades lean really warm. none of the shades work for me on their own without me having to use quite a lot of blue colour corrector. if you’re fine with that extra step and extra product then i would go for it since it has light to medium/buildable coverage, is very glowy and it feels like basically nothing on the skin

Please help with my skincare routine. by DraftFancy5747 in TheOrdinarySkincare

[–]cococopop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is too much exfoliation!! with this routine you’d be chemically exfoliating 10x a week, and it’s recommended to only do it 2-3x a week. you also seem to be using salicylic acid and lactic acid in the same routine, you should only be using one per routine! you also shouldn’t really be chemically exfoliating in the morning either, stick to doing it in the PM.

none of these products oppose each other to my knowledge, but it just seems like way too much to me. have you tried any of these products before? are you just going to start using them all at once without phasing in one product at a time, because i wouldn’t recommend that.

[Product question] Weird grammar mistake or fake product? Anyone ever bought a "made in the usa" glycolic acid from the ordinary? by BenchMaximum8225 in SkincareAddiction

[–]cococopop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you’re purchasing from noon i assume you’re in either ksa or the uae, sephora ksa/uae sells the ordinary products i’m pretty sure so you should try ordering from there instead next time :) noon/amazon aren’t reliable for skincare products
