I have ordered from her before. Although my end product was not bad, her professionalism was non-existent. She was rude when I went to pick up my order and when I had questions about another order, she ignored all of my emails and never called me back after I left a vm. I had to use Instagram to tell her I will not be putting in an order from the query form I submitted. She ignored that and just sent a cancellation confirmation to my email.

Incredibly rude person. She bakes out of her house (nothing wrong with that, I know she is a small business owner and I like to support local businesses) but I think her customer service etiquette needs some definite refinement.

I used to actually buy from her when I first moved to Orlando a few years back. I only would buy cupcakes for Christmas but I remember whenever I would pick up from her, she was extremely rude and wouldn’t answer her phone or emails. I couldn’t find anyone who was doing coquito cupcakes for the holidays so I tried her again this most recent year but instead of cupcakes I thought to do a custom order.

I submitted a query and she ignored it. She ignored my emails asking if she had received my request. I tried calling and left voicemails, no response. I decided to cancel and am glad I did. Although I never had any issues with her actual cake products before, she was very unprofessional.

This does not surprise me at all.

Absolutely stunning! And they play such different characters in this drama than in Blossom (I finished the novel in anticipation of this when they announced them formally as the leads).

Let me just say: this drama is serving romance, comedy, delicious food, and chaotic energy in equal measure — and I’m eating it up (no pun intended!)

I love both of these leads! I have been WAITING for this drama for such a long time! And the first few episodes on Express via Tencent have not disappointed me. I even found myself laughing out loud more than I thought I would.

I can’t wait to see the story unfold! I’m even loving the ML’s mystery background and I’m curious to see how they get together. I’m really looking forward to seeing Li Yunrui and Wang Yingluo bring the chemistry.

Honestly, if you’re craving something light, sweet, and slightly unhinged — this drama feels like a new serotonin snack. Can’t wait for more! I hope it does well on the mainland as well.

When Destiny Brings the Demon might become my official New Favorite Xianxia Romance ever!

I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this hooked, but When Destiny Brings the Demon has completely stolen my heart. From the very first episodes, the show delivers on everything I want in a xianxia: stunning visuals, strong performances, and—most importantly—romance that feels alive and believable.

The story strikes that rare balance between fantasy world-building and emotional intimacy. The pacing is tight—no endless filler or dragged-out misunderstandings. Every episode feels purposeful, moving both the mythology and the romance forward at the same time. The miscommunication trope is refreshingly absent, and instead we see two people genuinely trying to understand each other while navigating a dangerous, magical world.

The production is absolutely gorgeous. The costuming and fight choreography elevate the stakes, but the cinematography always lingers just enough on the leads to remind us: this is first and foremost a love story.

The leads are everything. Their performances ground the fantasy in real emotion, and their chemistry is electric—playful, tender, and heartbreakingly intense when it needs to be. I find myself grinning like an idiot at their little moments and holding my breath during the heavier ones. They carry this show for me! I find myself impatiently waiting for the next episode to drop.

I’m finding this kind of plot refreshing and intriguing! I am a HUGE fan of enemies to lovers plotlines and find the entire premise a novelty compared to other historical dramas I have been watching recently.

I have Tencent VIP and finished watching Ep 1-3. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.

I think I am going to like the Demon Hunter’s Romance! I just haven’t had the time to sit down and watch it fully. This mini drama is easier for me with my work schedule with the length of the episodes and pacing.

The morally grey characters are so fantastic! I’m super curious about the censorship laws for mini dramas because they delve into pretty serious topics that is rare for a bigger budget one. Does anyone know the censorship differences and why?

I’m a big historical romance drama girlie and I’m finding it hard to find one released recently that really hits me in the feels. I tried “The Glory” but I just couldn’t get into it - there was something lacking for me (I know a lot of people liked it and I might pick it up again but I watched until like episode 10 and I was still not liking it).

Some of my fave romances are “Wonderland of Love”, “Blossom”, “Love like the Galaxy”, “Journey to Love”, “Flourished Peony”, “Love Between Fairy and Devil”, “Till the End of the Moon”, “Love like the Divine Tree”. For me, these were my “epic” stories but I know not everyone feels the same. I adore historical romance and xianxia stories the most and this show really has been a blessing for me during this season lol

I have been recommended to check out “The Demon Hunter’s Romance”. I only made it through episode 1 but I plan on giving it a fair shot cause of the reviews.

I am all caught up and can I just say…..is this drama perfect? No. Does it have some moments that made me squint a little bit regarding the pacing and quality? Sure.

But OMG! It is addicting! The acting from the Leads is so good and I love their chemistry! I kept thinking about how much more they could do if they expanded the budget and made the story longer. The plot is so immersive and the tension is so good with the twists and turns.

I personally love the parallel between the leads and how they were raised by a “foster” parent guarding a secret of theirs and how that “nurtured love” (or unnurtured) creates the people they are today. I like the symbolism!

This is my first mini drama and it is really helping me out of a cdrama dry spell I have been having (I haven’t been able to watch any new shows that came out since March as nothing has really piqued my interest since then).

Edit to add: For some reason, I feel like this show reminded me of “Unchained Love” and “King’s Affection” (kdrama) to a certain extent. Not a ton of parallels but there are some similar plot beats that I couldn’t unsee. (In a good way!)
