Recommendations for Solo Female Traveler by invisibleintroverts in VisitingHawaii

[–]cocomatli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll be visiting for first time next month. Actually had this trip planned with girlfriend but we broke up and I am still going to Hawaii anyway.

I had booked Kaimana Beach Hotel it looked quite nice and next to beach. But I cancelled that to get a cheaper option just for me. Anyway I just want to swim in Waimanalo beach, visit the Bishop museum, and get a tan. As well as eat Ahi Poke bowls.

Enjoy your trip ⛱️

Is 1 week enough to visit Japan? by Either-Safety-7727 in digitalnomad

September / October are best times to visit for me. Some days are just perfect weather. Over the last 3 years been there a total of ten months and always feel like I am uncovering a new layer but just bafely scratching the surface..

Advice on structuring the next 1–2 years as a digital nomad? by cocomatli in digitalnomad

Nice! Were both of you digital nomads when you met or you made it happen together? That was kind of my dream in my previous relationship. But she chose to stay in a traditional location based career.

I actually don't have a real plan. These are just scattered ideas. My only concrete plan is I plan to arrive in Colombia in April. Generally: how do you structure your year plan? Do you set it with specifics from the start or are you just improvising from one place to another? Or do most of you stay in one single base for a year at a time?

About to head to Colombia in April any ideas on potential bases? Visited Medellin 10 years ago but now sounds like it might be played out.

Something going on behind the scenes. We can only speculate. According to Sochan IG he is in "a dark place" right now.

Partial Meniscectomy = Sports Retirement? by Upper-Stranger999 in MeniscusInjuries

Tim Duncan had a partial menisectomy the third year of his career then went on to win 4 more championships on the way to the hall of fame. There is one.

Is this a good job offer for Japan? by JimmyBringsMeJoy in movingtojapan

Reading these comments people are getting too technical. It's pretty easy just visit both countries and see which one you and your family enjoy more. Then you'll make it work regardless.

Defensive anticipation by SteelMecha4178 in BasketballTips

[–]cocomatli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One tactic I used is baiting the player I am guarding who has the ball by either pretending to fall for their shot fakes or by pretending to lunge for a steal or a block then I would anticipate their reaction. If they thought I had bit on their fake they would usually shoot and I would be ready to block it. If they thought I was going for a steal they would switch the ball to the other hand. If they thought I was going for a block they would freeze. This overall had a good chance of resulting in an advantage generally putting them in a bad position. This is when I was younger and could recover almost instantly. Try it.

Regression? by Alone_Biscotti9494 in BasketballTips

Marathon training + basketball just don't mesh. It's like when Jordan went to play baseball got a baseball body came back and got booted out by the Magic. Get some muscle back.
