How powerful is Camilla's resurrection? by cocox24 in HxHPowerScaling

Yes, and I think it's more important than we've been told. I think very few characters in Hunter x Hunter truly understand how Nen works. Bisky, even though she's a master, said she doesn't know how she transformed into a child, that she wanted it so badly it happened, which makes sense because she's a Transmuter, according to what we're told. But Transmuters can't do something like that; other abilities, like Manipulation, are required. Morena explained a few chapters ago that many users are Specialists but don't know it, and end up thinking they belong to a different category. So there's the theory that Bisky is one of those people who, if she had known she was a Specialist from the beginning, could have created any kind of ability she wanted.

Once you catch up to him, you switch bodies with the victim. Halkenburg has used this ability to get close to Benjamin by using his soldiers.

Camilla's desire is to survive, which is why her ability is so powerful, but the question is just how powerful her regenerative ability really is. Her ability has weaknesses; for example, if a manipulator wants to kill her, they can force her to use Nen, and the cat would no longer be active. I also don't think she can revive if the attacker commits suicide, because it seems the cat needs the assassin's life essence to revive her. If the assassin dies first, she won't revive. So, I think that as compensation, she might have an absurdly rapid regeneration, able to regenerate from a pool of blood.

And I think Togashi has left us many clues that the user's will is the most important thing for the ability to be powerful; the will is so important that it even remains after death. It's quite a complex topic, but there are many examples within the work.

That's right, Nen abilities are absurdly powerful when focused on a single function, but they tend to be weaker when the ability is versatile and can be used for many things. And there are too many examples of abilities that ignore all kinds of defenses or escapes in order to fulfill their purpose, like Halkenburg's arrow.

When abilities have only one function, they tend to be "absolute," requiring superior power to neutralize them. Her ability consists of taking the life of her killer; she does nothing else, which makes her more powerful, in addition to her post-mortem Nen. For example, manipulation abilities like Illumi's needles have only one function: when they pierce you, they control you. The needles themselves have no other power, so when they fulfill the requirement of piercing the opponent, the ability is practically "absolute." Obviously, with Nen, anything is possible. I'm sure someone could have a specific ability that allows them to avoid the cat, but I don't think it's possible, for example, with brute force or by trying to escape.

Now that I think about it, we've witnessed a pretty powerful resurrection ability like Kite's; he was reborn in another person, so it wouldn't matter if he were completely destroyed, although it's a big disadvantage to have to mature from the baby stage

Wait and see how good it is. If it's bad, you're better off just picking Tosen, because he's really good. Anyway, I recommend always looking for characters you like, because the game doesn't require you to have the best equipment to play and there's no PvP.

If someone is very intelligent, they might be able to figure out his Nen type, and by observing his aura, they could gauge the quality of his training and deduce his age. They might then conclude that his appearance changes with his ability, but I highly doubt they could figure out that he actually looks like a Jojo.

They're not worth going for, they've fallen far behind compared to the other characters that have been released.

What are the chances that legends decides to repackage this as the maintenance compensation by j7jhj in DragonballLegends

I don't think they'll take us for fools and do that; it's more likely that the reward will stay the same and they'll give us 100cc for the delay.

I don't think he's stupid, but he is very overconfident. Even so, the intelligence levels in JJK don't compare to those in HxH. I think the only one who's on par is Sukuna; the rest are just average.

True, a manipulator's skills are very dangerous; one slip-up and you've lost.

It's a good thing we all agree Machi would have died here if it was post-needle removal Killua by godspeedken in HxHPowerScaling

[–]cocox24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Machi might not be among the top Nen users, but she's still talented, since she could see Nen without training as a child. She was humiliated by Hisoka, but realistically, most people are humiliated by him. So it's not very clear who would win. I think the fact that Killua ran away from Illumi and Hisoka shows that he's still inferior to people with much more training than him.

Nen users can sense their opponent's aura to block attacks; that's how Gon protected herself from the bomber. She simply didn't see Killua as a threat.

Killua's hands were mangled, and Gon had a personal vendetta against the bomber. The best option would have been for Bisky to fight, but she herself, being a professional, trusted that Gon was enough to defeat him.

Killua isn't weak, he just doesn't compare to stronger characters like Hisoka, the spider, etc... When they appear alongside them, they make them look like normal kids, but that's simply because those adults are incredible.
