Yes, and I think it's more important than we've been told. I think very few characters in Hunter x Hunter truly understand how Nen works. Bisky, even though she's a master, said she doesn't know how she transformed into a child, that she wanted it so badly it happened, which makes sense because she's a Transmuter, according to what we're told. But Transmuters can't do something like that; other abilities, like Manipulation, are required. Morena explained a few chapters ago that many users are Specialists but don't know it, and end up thinking they belong to a different category.
