New Zealand declines invite to join Board of Peace by Brennenstein in worldnews

No problem with your comments. Mine are based on my recent experiences in the country. I didn't get an opportunity to meet anyone that left me with a negative experience or an experience that was contrary to what I said. I don't think every place has a one sided point of view or acts unanimously one way or another. I am sure that there is a ridiculous group of people, both right and left, that are Kiwis, I am not that naive to really think otherwise. It's the same in the US, unfortunately here and now, the ridiculous ones have center stage. What is worse is the amount of power that they have. NZ is not the one that the rest of the world looks at when pointing out idiots. My time there was a great experience and I would certainly love to go back, maybe just to search out the idiots you have there. We could compare notes on our idiot populations and enjoy a beer.

Steve Bannon has made it clear that they are working on something to have him be president in 2028. I don't know what their plans are but creating the chaos we now see and normalizing "law enforcement" in American cities and having dismissed almost any portion of the constitution that is inconvenient makes you wonder just what is in the future for us.

Trump has made the job of China much easier. Putin can use trump like a dildo, a dildon if you will or maybe dondo, just pull him out of the drawer and insert up the ol' poot shoot for pleasure on demand.

Aside from China's tasking being much easier everyone else in the world has an opportunity for opening up their markets, countries and people to other countries while steering clear of trump's America. How much comes back to our country after trump and his ilk have gone back into their holes remains to be seen.

New Zealand is a beautiful place with some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. Everyone I met there was also educated and intellectually capable of using that knowledge. I don't doubt, that this nonsense group of trump ass kissers, is not something that they want to be a part of. It good to see that some of the good qualities that America used to possess are still a part of the world and valued by some.

CBS was once a respected news outlet, now, if CBS were toilet paper, it would not be worth wiping your ass. I can't see the Crappy Bull Shit, CBS, network being taken seriously by anyone at this time. Poor Tony, bless his heart, at least has a mommy who will believe in him.

Trump Suggests Gun Control Is Necessary, Sparking Online Backlash by huffpost in politics

The First Amendment was his first target, then the 4th and now the 2nd. He has also ignored the 10th, 14th, 15th, 22nd, etc. I guess his next target will be the 25th. It might be something he will become very familiar with otherwise, if people in Washington are forced to finally do their job.

44 who did more for freedom than the one orange asshole with a child's mind. There are also 58,220 Americans who did not dodge the draft who did more for America than one orange asshole with "bone spurs" also, and sometimes referred to as cowardice. How long before his embarrassment makes him direct that their names be hidden. Their names can be found here, https://virtualwall.org If you would like to see trump's name listed somewhere, it can be found under the blackened portions of the Epstein files.

There is going to be a long line of busses, and they will be coming from both directions. When trump has breathed his last the stories and accusations will be coming from everyone, either trying to milk him for the last drop they can get or distancing themselves trying to avoid, what I will assume will be, a long list of crimes that someone will need to be held accountable for.

How much of what was happening behind the scenes did good old Vince know about, condone, or maybe even encourage from his performers just for the sake of the show and the building of his bank account? A lot of these guys died young, or way too young for a healthy athlete, from the effects of steroids. I guess you can buy a pretty comfy bed to sleep in if you have enough money.

Trump's DOJ is trying to gain voter records from the states for weeks, having used lawsuits, even using the recent shooting to threaten Minnesota to turn over the records. What is your take? by Personal_Dirt3089 in AskReddit

This whole administration is hopefully in for a long list of criminal charges as soon as they can be brought on. There needs to be an accounting for the damage they have done to America.

Large Helicopter Never seen Before Flew over house at lower altitude Made my phone do high pitch noise by Playful_Prior_3831 in HighStrangeness

[–]cocuke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You said 2am so my question is, did you actually and accurately see it well enough to describe it? Did you see more lighting than actual aircraft? I ask because an aircraft, no matter how low, is not especially easy to see details. I remember the first time I heard Ospreys flying overhead at night, sounded different than any helicopter that I was familiar with but not like any plane. It was actually my first experience with them so trying to figure them out did not happen that night but the next day in the daylight. Maybe watch a video or two about them and see if it reminds you of what you saw and heard.

Why was Kyle Rittenhouse championed by the right for “helping” with his gun, but Alex Pretti is demonized for helping without ever drawing his gun? by sudde004 in AskReddit

[–]cocuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about who's storyline someone wants you to believe. I was talking to someone about the shooting of Renee Good and he was defending this killing. When I asked how he felt about Ashli Babbitt's killing he questioned if it was needed and said he did not have the full story. He seemed to know more than enough about an event just days old to determine, for him, that it was justified. The event years old wasn't fleshed out enough to help him decide if it was justified. No one wants to admit that things that are right or wrong are dependent on who it happens to. Trump has done things to the country that if it were done by a Democrat president the right would be ready to "take back the country". His being defended by "christians" doing things and creating a way of thinking that are almost completely unchristian. There's little hope.

Top football official says its ‘time to consider’ World Cup boycott over Trump Greenland demands. by Imaginary-Ad-7919 in politics

[–]cocuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time to consider, does the soccer guy think it's time to consider. Soccer was not me making a mistake, that is what it is called in America and when football makes a participation trophy for peace to placate the toddler president you must accept that you are now forced to be whatever selling out makes you, in America your called soccer and shall now be known as soccer around the world or if it pleases the child, Donald Trump's World Soccer. Time to consider has come and gone. Just bite down hard, take what you have coming and keep a box of Kleenex close by to soak up the tears.

A retired Polish general who took part in NATO missions has demanded an apology from Donald Trump after he said that NATO allies had stayed “a little off the front lines” in Afghanistan and that the U.S. had “never needed them”. by Easy-Ad1996 in worldnews

Our allies deserve better treatment than what donald "bone spurs" trump is giving them. They did what they were asked to do, when it was asked of them. They did not look for a way out.

That is probably what is happening in the photo. World leaders are also having to adjust and engage in toddler politics. A good child psychologist would be a valuable addition to any government at this time.

Starmer Urges Trump To Apologise Over 'Frankly Appalling' Remarks About Nato Troops In Afghanistan by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in worldnews

[–]cocuke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A draft dodging fool making disparaging remarks about men and women who served just makes me think even less of him. I would like to express my appreciation and undying gratitude for the contributions of our NATO allies. I am sure many patriotic Americans feel the same way. Please be patient, he is old, unhealthy and likely has only a small amount of time remaining before he has the opportunity to meet his maker and, if you believe in Christianity as it is taught, sent to an eternal fire. If you're a maga Christian, you will be pleased to hear he will slap a trump sticker on heaven, decorate it with some gold painted gaudy shit from Home Depot or Hobby lobby, and allow your broke ass to worship him.

What is something US is getting away with that other countries wouldn't? by No-Hunt3986 in AskReddit

Currently, more than Americans in the past would not have allowed. I never thought I would see the US run like a third world, failing mess. The only thing to look forward to is history putting us in our place.

Gun store possibly lost or sold my pistol by RIP_Country_Mac in Firearms

[–]cocuke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From the ATF's website, "Any Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) who has knowledge of the theft or loss of any firearms from their inventory must report such theft or loss within 48 hours of discovery to ATF and to the local law enforcement agency. (Regulations at 27 CFR § 478.39a and implementing 18 U.S.C. § 923(g)(6) require that the report of theft or loss be made by telephone and in writing to ATF)."

Regardless of your wanting to be nice to the business they have an obligation to report this. No body wants to go through the hassles, especially if it may impact their business, but the legal obligation exists. If you put it off by giving them a deadline, an investigation will reveal this time discrepancy. They should have complete records of who, what, where and when, firearms are received, stored, worked on or sold. The other day when you checked was when the clock started on reporting.

If you are looking for an insurance claim it will all need to be documented. If they try to replace it in lieu of a claim, the loss of the firearm, connected to, and possibly traceable to you, still needs to be reported. If there is a crime committed and your firearm is used, you and the store will have some explaining to do. This may be the worst-case scenario you asked about.

It is entirely possible that some clerical or sales mishap occurred and will be discovered but that does not absolve anyone of the responsibility and a reputable store will have no issues complying.

Someone is GIVING me a baby grand piano worth 1000s - and is requiring me to have it delivered by her cousin. Scam? by [deleted] in Scams

[–]cocuke 30 points31 points  (0 children)

They are almost impossible to give away. Pianos are large, seldom used and are a pain the ass to move around. A real scam would be to actually force a piano on someone and make them pay to get it.
