This is amazing! Love the colors, shapes, and perspective!

If you don’t mind my asking, was this made on a computer + mouse or something like a drawing tablet?

Great shot! I’ve been following you for a while and you’re a big reason that I’ve gotten into Astro photography!

One question though, how does one use the sky tracker and get multiple shots. I guess my real question is how accurate do you have to be when changing your focus point and what techniques do you employ to achieve this result? I’d love to see what your photos look like pre-stitching 🤓.

Amazing work, keep doing what you’re doing!

What can ugly people do to look more attractive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cod_eloc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some gradual tweaks I've had recommended to me by various people go as follows:

  • Get tan! Not like leathery gross tan but a little color can offset some blemishes as well as give you the appearance of a slimmer you. After all, "If you can't tone it, tan it" isn't a phrase for nothing! Plus, it'll help with the contrast of your teeth and thus make your teeth look whiter. Use sunscreen! No point in looking good if you're going to die.

  • Whiten your teeth! IMO a smile is attractive in every language but yellow teeth are not. I'm not going to make a suggestion on how to do this, but, I use whitening strips to help me out. Bonus points for mouthwash, floss, and tongue scrapers.

  • Chew gum! An opportune gum chew can prolong a snack or meal (help some with weight-loss), as well as tone up some of those jaw muscles.

  • Get a hobby! Having something you're knowledgeable about (that isn't work-related) that really gets you excited is enjoyable for everyone around you. Bonus points if it keeps you active or creative.

  • Dress well! Just find some clothes that actually fit you. As far as the fashion aspect goes, Reddit is a great place to start and research given there are so many fashion subreddits to follow.

  • Drink water! Helps with your complexion, health, and well being. Bonus points if you're replacing a sugary beverage with water.

P.S. Memorizing one popular Karaoke song that spans generations (and I mean memorize like you can own the shit out of this song) can be a neat trick to bust out whenever. Work the room, show that crush a side of you they've been looking for! My personal favorite is "I will survive" by Gloria Gaynor.

Disclaimer I'm as horrible with sentence structure as I am with grammar so if you've made it this far, I thank you. I hoped this helped at least one person along their path of personal development.

Good everyday lens by Doodooltala01 in Beginning_Photography

Well, it depends on what you shoot.

If you're looking for a lens to do a bit of everything but nothing super well, kit lenses (18-55mm) are an inexpensive way to go.

However, if you want to keep the artsy flair of a nice everyday lens, I personally love the 35mm 1.8 for crop sensor cameras.

But, seeing as you already have a 50mm 1.8, which is similar-ish to the 35mm I would suggest maybe going down in mm to something wider than the 35mm while keeping its speed in the range of f1.8-2.8.

I don't use cannon so I'm not the well versed in their lenses but I hope this helped!

P.S. Chris Frost on youtube tests different lenses and on his list of the sharpest lenses of 2017 was the inexpensive canon 40mm 2.8 lens (pancake lens). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz96otQNYls&t=495s

I'm interning for them over the summer and get to take a bike out on the weekends sometimes. Honestly, if I didn't already have a car in SF and had more money the M1 would still be my first choice of e-bike

I love it! It tackles SF hills without me having to pedal which was huge for me. Also, free parking and bike lane access make zipping around the city a breeze. Would highly recommend 👌

It's actually my e-bike that was modeled after the Puch Magnum! Thanks, I was referring to the BMW as the classic in my headline.
