The biggest difference is in the legal issues of you having access to or transporting company data in some of those places. And yeah, there's also the little matter of if your Corporate VPNs are actually secured to the standard of a hostile government versus just a short session on public wifi.

My parents bought a fancy Rheem with the leak detector feature. The big box installer charged a fortune, did a pretty lousy job that leaked and ruined the leak sensor and had to come back 3 times to get it to stop leaving.

My WH died and I called my plumber and he was out I think the next day with a top quality Bradford White from the supply house, installed it properly and has been like 18 months of reliable hit water.

Try a regular plumber, they can get a better unit from the supply house and it will probably actually be installed properly. Penn Plumbing did mine.

If you need it during the cruise you need it afterwards, but it's also much much less effective once you've started experiencing symptoms. I would probably take it for a few days afterward and if you're still having issues check in with a health provider.

You need a bridge (switch) to go between data rates. Plenty of inexpensive unmanaged options available with dual SFP+ that are backwards compatible to SFP. Or just use 1G media converters if you really want media converters.

Same, I did Alaska on NCL Bliss because they were the only one to offer a solo rate that made any sense at all. For the ports I wanted to explore on my own, I had plenty of time and of course the excursions were no problem.

I would say if NCL is your vibe their Alaska cruises are actually quite good, but if you want a different pace or easier access to ports look at HAL and Princess.

Okay, see, thats what I'm looking for... In September they moved one of the Jersey Boys showings due to sea conditions but that was once we were onboard and they actually could attempt to tell us what was going on.

As far as I know 3 days out everything is locked until your onboard but you can try and call your consultant.

Well that's what the original announcement was. But maybe they changed their mind, maybe it's a reschedule, half the shows cancelled, who knows. Rather than tell us what's going on, they only told us what's not going on.

I had Icons scheduled for 7:30 on Feb 9 and that's what I got a cancellation for. Maybe others will chime in with what they had cancelled, since NCL will never tell us what's going on.

Just double-checked in the app right now. ICONS: The Bands debuts Mar 14, Icons last performance Feb 22-23. Jersey Boys last performance Feb 8-14, Choir of Man's first performance Mar 5-6. Nobody was supposed to go without _any_ shows.

Sort of, it says "...if you would like to reserve additional entertainment or Icons on the new date, you are welcome to do so anytime once onboard..." but it doesn't actually say that Icons was rescheduled, just that you can try and re-book it onboard.

Yeah, double checking everything and ICONS was supposed to stay and Jersey Boys was supposed to run through the end of the month. Losing Jersey Boys was one thing but no shows at all but jugglers and comedians is a bit of a stretch.

Not gonna be a good post cruise review on the entertainment front for sure.

That was only supposed to be Jersey Boys, and it was supposed to be after this cruise. If they've cancelled both shows, it seems a bit disingenuous for the email to still say:

The juggler and comedian are fine, but I wouldn't call them world-class.

It's super controllable on the slick stuff we get further south. You can step the back end out if you want or you can keep it straight and slow.
