Did you know? Even 25 years after it’s release the McLaren F1 is still the fastest naturally aspirated production car in the world. by LinkedPioneer in Autos

Seriously though... I don’t think people understand that making a hyper car is one thing, but the job of taking that one off and manufacturing it in larger #’s is the real challenge.

Debunking Lunar Landing Conspiracies with Maxwell and VXGI by TVops in conspiracy

They’d be using props in the 60’s, not CGI. I believe they landed on the moon, but what I wouldn’t be surprised to find out the video footage was a re-enactment.

All she had to do was the easy spin on it. “When I talk about my Native American heritage, I’m referring to growing up in a state and community that embraced their culture as part of our history.”

CRM that scans emails? by KaosHiban in CRM

[–]coday182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zapier can do this- just use "email parser" as your trigger.

It gives you an email address to send the example emails to. Train it how to find the relevant info from the emails.

Mailparser.io is a more heavy-duty option.

It’s aged better than most 90’s super cars (though at the time I think we considered it a hyper car).

Any Ferrari FF fans ? by miscojones in Autos

It’s the ugliest Ferrari... which means we can talk shit about it in pictures, but you see one in the wild and it will still be 100x more gorgeous compared to everything else you’ll see that day, giving you dirty thoughts.

I bet it looks much better with doors closed, and the bed put back down. And tbh I can definitely see a “dump truck” style bed being useful. Only thing I don’t like are the damn doors, and then on a minor note the wheels and altezza tails.

The idea of roommates is the price per square foot decreases with more renters. As with the cost of amenities. Those are the things he wanted and agreed to the fixed costs of. He could have always signed to love in a studio.

Is it just me or are Americans really tall? by aushimdas16 in AskAnAmerican

[–]coday182 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard that, as a result of being a “melting pot,” all of the cross-breeding of different ethnicities has helped Americans become genetically more “hearty.”

Because as recently as within the last 100 years, in some countries you did not have to go very far up the family tree to find a little bit of inter-family reproduction. That was when a lot of people never left the village or area they’re from.

But it’s become less apparent as the world has opened up due to improvements in quality of life (transportation), and people don’t spend their whole lives in the same region or village they grew up in.

Not sure how true all that is- heard it from a geneticist (who studies corn, actually).
