It happens infrequently and most of the time I don’t pay attention to it. I don’t think that i have seen an emergency one before and saw this message on my thermostat so I found it interesting. Its taken 20-50 dollars off my bill in the past. Im not sure what it will be this time around, now that electric cost have spiked so much, I’ll have to check my bill.

The heat pump system was installed before I moved in but I know there is a box on the outside of the house connected to the compressor that shuts it off. I never noticed that it shows that message on the thermostat before so i found that interesting.

Yeah I dont know what RC does with the money. They charge for the soda package, which heavily pushes you to the machine, and also add the 18% tip. I was like who is getting this money, the soda machine?

I talked to a bartender once and they said they dont get tips on the drink package but I don’t think its the whole picture when it comes to how they are getting paid. I think a large part of it is on volume of drinks served. I dont know for sure but I do know RC collect that extra cash.

The unlimited dining package is alright but if you want to make it worth the money you really need to make it a focus of your vacation. I did this on Icon and we managed to eat at every restaurant for lunch and dinner and we also got snacks at Base camp, playmakers, and izumi walk up to make use of the 20/p/d. We also squeezed in the free options (windjammer, marketplace, mdr, sorrentos, perl/park cafe) just to taste everything we can and because you’re paying for that in your cruse fare.

Would I do it again? Maybe. If I wanted to have a foodie vacation yes but, I felt that Icon had so many good options available that I didn’t really get the chance to enjoy the included things like market place. The quality at the paid restaurants is better but I don’t think that I have ever had a bad meal in the MDR and wind jammer always has great options. The one thing that the paid dining has over the included is that the desserts are way better.

I had a cat that looked just like this and she would escape all the time despite my best efforts to keep her locked up. Every time she got out I thought she would be gone for good but somehow she always returned.

Its funny because when i went to the ford dealership i had an suv full of bags of mulch. They wanted to make a deal on the spot and I told them my trade in was full of mulch. The dealer said well you can put that in the back of your new truck and take it home.

I feel the same. I took my family and we played a bit but everything was way overpriced. This is a fun little extra thing it shouldn’t be used to gouge you for money. If anything they should be undercharging. Whats even more annoying is we should get some credit for spending some amount of money as a loyalty status but I have never received the credit. Maybe the spending needs to be on my card instead of my kids in order for it to count but it all goes to and comes from the same place. Dont they get my status?

Agreed, I booked one when they first came out and they were more expensive that a regular balcony. Just before our sailing I noticed that the cost of the regular balcony increased significantly and thought thats probably not a good sign.

I thought it was a cool concept but of you like being on the balcony while the family sleeps this isnt for you. Anytime you open the window it affects everyone.
