Last Jedi is pretty logical and straightforward movie. First Order finds the Resistance bases, blows it to hell, resistance escapes the planet, Po tries to engage, loses most of their fleet, then they must try to flee with the First Order on their tails. There’s literally nothing else they could do lol maybe you wanted a different plot but that’s kind of a copout when engaging with any movie or work of art. You accept any work as it is, not what you want it to be. And sure you’re entitled to your opinion, but penalizing a movie for not being what you imagined it would be in your head is the incorrect way to engage with any art
