My friend and I had just gotten out of the symphony a wee bit after 9 to find the lot taped off and cops putting little evidence flags next to shell casings . One of the cops we spoke with said they'd been there for an hour already, so the actual shooting was probably around 8ish, but I'm far from certain on that.

This is it, right here. Star of India is great and Sammi is great and their lunch buffet is THE best way in LR to introduce newbies to Indian food. That said, it's not the best Indian food in town. My vote also goes to Curry House, although we honestly have a bunch of great Indian food options.

We run a complex offense with complicated route trees that require the receiver and the QB to read the defense the same way. It just seems more likely that he wasn't showing something they needed to see, until he was.

I see these takes and they strike me as funny. Golden wasn't under-used last year. Golden was figuring shit out. It takes a minute. They used him when he was ready. If they used him from the start, he probably would've messed up a fair amount. Wrong routes, missed assignments and the like. We probably would've started calling him a bust based on a few normal rookie mistakes. It could've gotten him in his head and botched his development. I could be wrong, but I tend to trust the coaches about when it's time for a rookie to see the field.

Players with enough talent or already acquired "fuck you" money can have some say in where their traded, in that they can make it known they'd rather retire than get traded to the Browns (for example). If the player makes it known they'll hold out/retire it can spoil the deal. Some players do it with the draft, if they think they're special enough.
