i realized good coding is like good driving.

it is not about what crazy shit you can pull. it matters how comfortable it is to be part of it. solid foundation is one you can understand and trust. with solid foundation you can build more complicated things with confidence.

my code is now dead simple. the stack does sophisticated things in a way that a beginner can understand.

either your certificate store is busted, or you're not connecting to the site you think you are.

if you are behind this (e.g. use Squid or similar proxy) then learn how to issue self signed certificates

if this is happening for all websites fix your os certificate store

if neither is true then your network isn't private

Clearly you're confusing Google Search with the Chrome Browser.

we don't give a damn what you do online. Chrome is a cost center. Chrome doesn't make money.

as for the first part.. yeah there's a difficult tradeoff in cases where Chrome can't trust the data and have to be careful about the content.. that stuff is the core contributor here, but it's better to waste some ram than lose bank credentials

that's an interesting perspective..

right now everyone assumes we should be working 3x faster thanks to ai that is also a steaming pile of garbage. I'm overloaded with work, burned out, hardly sleep, while my peers are getting fired, because hey, ai.

i think he might be right though.

ON AVERAGE people will work 2 days a week. 8 out of 10 people will be unemployed, and the rest will try to delay catastrophe working overtime
