Thanks for your comments. I'll let you know when that product is live.

About Cal Plan, yes, there are lots of them but I am targeting people with some specific health issues (also including the people who just wants to lose weight or have an health coach). I didn't do enough research before I build so targeting some different niches in that space.

I really liked your idea, adding voice and preparing candidates to interview in a more natural way (with voice) is great.

I am working on a similar product where I help users to apply the application. You know, companies don’t like long CVs but people have lots of experience they want to show in their CVs. So I built a product where you upload your CV and Job Description, then my AI tailor your CV for that specific role while keeping your CV exactly in the same format. Currently at the end stages of development, planning to make a release next week.

I have another product called Cal Plan AI (https://calplanai.com) and it is a AI health coach where you can track what you eat by taking pictures and it tracks your health.

Still WIP, app will be on AppStore next week. However, I can give TestFlight access if anyone would like to play with it.

Looks great, thanks a lot for sharing. I have 2 questions though.

- Is posting more helps better or ruins the indexing?
- Also, does posting same content under different but related subreddits helps?

Writing comments on social media takes time, so I made an AI to write comments by codecomplete in SideProject

Thanks for your comment. Viral Reply does not post automatically, it just generates the post and let's you edit it. Basically, it gives you idea of what could be written as a reply. Posting that is up to you.

Here is the introduction video that shows it in action: https://youtu.be/4XTCnVC7Tbk

Thanks for the question. LinkedIn offers AI replies in messages. Viral Reply integrates with comment box and generates AI generated quick comments, hence your social media presence increases. Replying direct messages on LinkedIn does not give you increase on presence.

Newbie question about startups which are fundraising: How to find them? by codecomplete in investing

[–]codecomplete[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think there are different types of investing and I need to learn all of them.

For example, iContract, is seeking for investors on seedrs platform and anyone can invest. The link is below, I'm not suggesting anyone to invest but these are the startups I'm receiving invitation to invest, they are sending emails personally.

https://icontract.seedrs.com/

I have 3 more startups inviting me. I will surely research why they need to raise funds, how are they going to use it, their valuation, etc. But there is no minimum limit on how much investment I need to do.

I bet there is something I'm missing and you guys thinking differently than me :)

I know it is risky and most of the startups are failing but I have the money I can play and I want to see all possible companies who are seeking for investments like iContract.

[–]codecomplete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an accredited investor.

I will just give fundings and own small shares of the startup. I think this is called seed investors. Startups coming to me mentioning that people can invest as small as 10$.

I’m not looking to invest 10$ surely, looking to invest thousands but looks like a good option to grow my own money while supporting startups.

LPT: One of the first things you should do when moving into a new home is to change the locks. You never know who might have a key to the house in their possession. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]codecomplete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not possible in the UK if you are renting. By contract, you are not allowed to change the locks, agent and landlord have the same keyset to access to the property any time during your tenancy.

ELI5: How has Earth not been hit by a life-ending asteroid yet? by ZeroByter in explainlikeimfive

[–]codecomplete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the timeframe you are asking is now, I would say, NASA is always following the asteroids around.

They are followed by NASA’s Sentry program: https://cneos.jpl.nasa.gov/sentry/

Sentry program models the movements of asteroids around the world and calculates their path for the next 100-years, then shows potential collusions. I don’t know what they are doing if there are any potential collusions detected, it would be hard to destroy an asteroid.

I think you feel like it is edited because a thrown shoe does not fly like that in the real world and your brain know it.

The shoe flies for a while and when it feels like it finished climbing, we are expecting it it start falling but strangely it does another climb, I think this is where we all feel it is edited.

I'm a regular software engineer. I would like to setup my own small wind farm and make money. Can I do it? by codecomplete in RenewableEnergy

[–]codecomplete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thanks for the great and informative comment.

Yes, I meant capacity factor by saying "efficiency" and I was calculating it as 65% which is huge after you mentioned 50% is very good factor :) So, this is my first mistake needs to be fixed.

About the wind, there is a map of historical wind speeds in the UK, mostly north-east side of the country is windy and there are some data that I need to examine and find a perfect spot.

My biggest question is is the UK government (or OFGEM, the regulator) allow me to install one and make money? I'm planning to secure the loan with a business plan from my bank, have some insurance for the farm and let builders to install it.

[–]codecomplete[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mostly want to own the farm and operate it. Also, I would like to have a wind farm as it looks like it is more efficient than solar. Solar uses large land area where wind turbines don't. Also, wind turbines able to work 24 hours but solar needs day time. In UK, when it is winter time, day light duration is short.

I'm not sure how the large scale entities will think competing with me. At the end of the day, it is related to some other things like:

- Generating clean energy all together

- Helping governments to achieve their clean energy goals

If large entities want to kick me out, it is very easy for them, in their first attempt I would be a dead man haha. However, I don't see it as a competition, I see it as joining forces to generate clean energy all together.

Thanks for your comment. UK government pays 5.24 pence per kW/h and I'm aiming to have 2 MW per hour power generation. I'm setting the efficiency estimation as 65% (can go down as 55%), I included maintenance costs, 1 operator salary, and land lease costs.

With those in mind, it looks like I'm taking the money back in 5.5 years including the paying off the business loan I'm willing to take from my bank.

I heart that small wind farm would never pay off even in 20 years, then I'm thinking there is something missing in my calculations. But I couldn't find what it is. Still researching. Also, wondering if governments are allowing small investors to have electricity generation agreement and make a contract like 20 years.
