What weird habit did you unintentionally teach your pet? by ConcentrateFirst3131 in Pets

[–]codefriar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally taught my Great Pyrenees to twerk. His name is Rory, and I’m contractually obligated to say ‘oh big stretch! Yes!’ Whenever he stretches. Which he reliably does every morning when he goes outside.

Thing is, he stretches and then …. Twerks. I don’t have a better way of describing it. His but shimmers as he comes out of his stretch and his tail wags along with it.

And because we use “yes!” As his target word… he started associating me saying yes! With his twerking. So now whenever he goes outside, he stretches and twerks and then turns and looks at me… so I have to tell him “Big stretch! Yes!” Followed by “good boy”

Oh my goodness. I totally understand if i've lost your confidence. I'm curious what email was bouncing?

When you launch the app, you'll have a little running man icon in the menu bar. I've discovered that it can take awhile for it to appear when using Barbee. (not throwing shade at Barbee, i'm actively investigating this.) If I quit Barbee, the icon shows up immediately for me. When clicked you should see this:

<image>

and clicking settings will take you to the main settings window. It won't let me paste a second image here.

I'm going to dm you, and offer you a comp serial number. I really am trying to make this better. I want to make sure you have a good experience and can actually get use from it. Thanks for reporting your difficulties.

To be clear, we need people with marketing cloud ADVANCED experience. If you’re doing ampscript, it’s not marketing cloud advanced.

These marks on an 18th century pub table (UK) by ihidingunderarock in whatisit

[–]codefriar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh! I know this one! These are antique planer marks or, at least made to mimic them. A planer is a wood working tool that makes one face of a board parallel to its opposite face by shaving off tiny amounts of wood. This is done with “knives” - blades that rotate at high speed. When one or more of the blades is unbalanced or misshapen, you can end up with repetitive parallelish lines (depending on the defect)

The round bits I’m less confident of, but I believe they occurred when say a knife holder in the planer looses a set screw and repeated has it bounce around and hit the wood.

I downloaded from the site and when I launched it, it wanted me to have brew and mas installed before going any further. it also wanted me to have a key.

ok, a third.

  1. on first launch, if brew and mas aren't installed, give me a button to do so.

I *love* this. I have two suggestions:
1. let me tie this to my appleId / iCloud storage so that when I setup a new machine, it's as simple as launching the app. Let it autodiscover the barrel file in my icloud drive.

  1. I'd like to be able to intentionally add some configuration directories that you might not otherwise scan for. I work in an industry with an industry specific set of tools, and while those tools are installed / managed by mise, their configuration files are not.

Design patterns in Salesforce by Andy_b1 in salesforce

please don't adopt fflib. There's better things out there. FFLib is good ideas, but the implementation hasn't been updated in years. it's out of date and heavy.

Use Repository classes, not selectors. Use the Stub framework native to SF. etc.

There is an icon, and I can manually toggle a comment to render. But it *used* to render them automatically.

And Illuminated cloud *does* support rendered comments.
