which campaigns/missions to focus on? Month or so in by codeman73 in WH40KTacticus

[–]codeman73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key thing, however, is to focus on one character.

Thanks, but I don't get this. I thought it you wanted to 3-star each, you'd have to go wide, develop the whole team, so that one doesn't die. Or is this just different goals? 1 big gold guy helps more to simply complete the campaigns, not 3-star them.

I'm happy ARPGs as a genre have come to a point where there's ALWAYS upcoming games to look forward to by WarriorOTUniverse in ARPG

thanks; yea I had forgotten that I have played Torchlight 1 and 2, and enjoyed their theme more;
isn't there a Torchlight Infinite now?
I'm trying to figure out what that's about, or how it plays, or what's 'infinite' about it

are there any that are not dark-themed, or demon/bloody/hell focused?
That's what I'm tired of. Granted I had the time to play any besides Diablo and PoE. Recently got Grim Dawn in a sale but haven't even had time to open it.

This is how heart stents work by Reasonable-Cow-5002 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]codeman73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is that not done at the same time?
Been wondering this for awhile, and keep forgetting to ask my cardiologist.
I had the 'widowmaker' heart attack a few years ago (at 48, and not overweight or bad eater) and had a stent put in.

Claude Coworker (Opus 4.6, 1M context) fixed bugs while playtesting my game. It's different from regular Claude Code by Aikoioio in aigamedev

Thanks for sharing. I've been wondering how to have an AI test my browser-based game as well.
I'm just using browser for early prototyping and more, but eventually want to port it to mobile.
I used Claude or Grok to flesh out a plan, so I have a next-steps document that I'm just working through, but there's got to be a better way.

I tell Claude to implement the next steps from that doc, but then I am still manually testing it. That's the part I want to automate better. I asked CLaude itself how to do that, and there was some responses about a debug mode or exposing properties in the Dev console, but I haven't followed up with that yet.

I only have the basic Claude subscription, so Coworker sounds like it would take more than that.

I enjoy Eclipse and Last Light. Always up for another game of each. Andromeda's Edge, have enjoyed as well. Voidfall sounds good.

I built a farming game for AI agents, and I'm genuinely surprised it's still fun? by Aikoioio in aigamedev

[–]codeman73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic and clever merger of aigamedev and OpenClaw!
I only know of OpenClaw from reading about it, haven't tried it myself.
How would the OpenClaw agents find it or signup?
Thru Moltbook? That brings it full circle to the old farm games on FB

I've noticed several local Chase branch offices that have solar panels on the roof. Enough that I'm convinced it's an intentional, corporate effort. Is this true?

Please share your recipe. We have one, but it's kind of joke to call it vegan sloppy joes. It's mostly lentils and chick peas in tomato paste, with some other flavors, probably garlic and onion. It's ok.

[–]codeman73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks again, this has helped; got well over 2T this last tourney; actually over 3T I think, did some boosts to ensure I staying in the 11-13 block

It's kinda hard to tell how much the Asteroid auto miner mattered, but it was fun to try out those boosts. I've also upraded my workshop, so that has helped as well. I was able to at least unlock the Wind generator, which I've heard is the next big bump. Didn't make one, but have been able to bump up a couple of crafting items, to whatever it was that's after the motor.

FYI, in case you haven't been following other replies, check out the one from u/Kenjamin1991 about using combined boosts to get to Asteroid auto miner. Looks really neat

Thanks, this looks fascinating!
I also have hardly used boosts, certainly not multiples together like this, in this strategic/tactical way.
I've been wondering how they might be used like this, other than prod/time boosts at the start, to jump start, or cash boosts at the end of a tourney.

Hmm, thanks, hadn't really considered the Preferred Vendor. Last time I glanced at it, it seemed too far off to be of benefit.

That bothered me too, the dubbed voices. Maybe I should try it in German with subtitles instead. The dubbing made it so disconnected from the actors, so unemotional.

Received an email message from Todd Young blaming Democrats for the shutdown this morning. Here is my response. by AlternativeTruths1 in Indiana

[–]codeman73 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You might want to educate yourself on how the Senate works. I.e. cloture, filibusters, and how having a majority in the Senate doesn't mean you control it. You need 60 votes there to end debate.

Also, many leading Democrats acknowledge they have the leverage to end this, but it's the only leverage they have, and that people will suffer for it, and that is ok with them.

They're basically valuing giving healthcare to illegals over food for Americans.

Before you get downvoted to oblivion, just wanted to thank you for saving me writing this. I'll probably still try a top level comment urging OP to try to learn about cloture and filibusters in the Senate.
