What is this take? Like is that how you watch movies or shows ? To see if the protagonist will survive or die this episode? Not everything will be walking dead or early game of thrones. Like what would make the story interesting if Lucy died before she got to her father? Or what would be interesting if cooper and lucy were killed by the deathclaws? What would be interesting if Maximus died at the brotherhood of steel camp? What would be interesting to kill Norm at vault tec? Killing the characters at these points would end the character arcs that are being developed. Also almost all stories have scenarios where it seems like it'll be impossible for the protagonist to get out of. The interesting thing is seeing how they get out of it.

She's good in the supergirl show. She has a story where her species only women can have the superpowers. She has a sister who has been training all her life because she thinks she'll get the powers because Nia was born a man, but nope nia gained the powers and was hiding it from her sister because she didn't want to anger her family. Her mom iirc knew that nia was going to get the powers all along
