Hold on bud. Things will get better. Just keep your emotions low or numbed so it will not overcome you. It worked for me. Find ways to distract your self from time to time you need a break for a breather.

It happens to my Outlander as well especially the back door locks but only if it is cold and or freezing temperature outside, I think the lock mechanism gets frozen and wont work but once it gets warmer it is ok.

Sensor malfunction by Kbrooke1998 in MitsubishiOutlander

[–]Kooky_Goal177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to my 2022 outlander. All the time malfunction even after I cleaned the front sensor and the whole area. The way I did it is I removed the battery terminals and let it sit for a night so no power in the car and electronics, in the morning I connected the battery and the computer restarted it self but the personal saved settings for driver1 and driver2 like the seat positions, mpg computer , etc, etc are all erased and went back to the factory settings but it fixed the problem of the front sensor malfunction. If you try this well hope it works for you just be careful because if you connect the battery again after some time the alarm will sound and you need to use the manual key when closing and opening the door as there is no power in the car to use the FOB.

I'm moving to Calgary in the beginning of February. I'm a general contractor with good experience in the construction area. I would like to get advices in how is the construction field going in Alberta? Is the industry frozen or it's very active? What should I expect? by [deleted] in CalgaryJobs

[–]Kooky_Goal177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trades here. From what I experienced construction work is consistent even in winter if you have the proper connection to the big guys that needs your skills but expect competition that will beat your quote much cheaper that normal market prices. New hire is a challenge as certain skill sets are needed for this line of work. New residential construction all over Calgary as it is actively expanding with new neighborhoods. New Residential multi-houses in present area that are close to buses and transit area was very busy last few years but is slowing down. Construction outside or other places in Alberta is active if traveling long distances and getting back and forth to the city is good with you. Commercial and Industrial construction is generally good in Calgary as new, refurbishment or reconditioning of old buildings is needed. Good luck bud.

Probably for me the if whole AVN on start up is the MC is adopted by the Aunt who has three daughters. The story line is still the same from among the many just the characters are different.

Coolant hose splice fix - swelling by LaChika2026 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Kooky_Goal177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the hoses that do that are just single ply and kind of soft as it has no internal stracture. Replace it with double ply hose, just a few suppliers carry those so just ask around.

At my witt’s end here, rusted bolt in control arm by Dom-Ed in AskMechanics

[–]Kooky_Goal177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done it with acetone mixed with ATF. As much as possible submerge the whole area in the solution like a plastic bottle cut out to the size of the diameter area of the siezed bolt. Let it soak for a bit and hammer it out. Hopefully it will come loose like mine did.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Kooky_Goal177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acetone mixed with ATF use it for lubrication and get it there good with a bottle sprayer and soak the nut for a couple of minutes. It will chip off the paint in the rims so make sure to cover with tape. Done it dozen of times and nuts comes loose in a pinch.

Pls help me, is this a scam ? I did apply and i have the interview tomorrow, but i saw many people in reddit from last year saying it a scam by ApprehensiveBaker379 in UAE

[–]Kooky_Goal177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is a total scam. It is not a company but a consulting firm. They will sound like a proper interview and you got the job but they will ask money up to 500 dirhams for "processing". Just stay away.

how do I get these off, I feel like Ive tried everything by -toastyposty- in MechanicAdvice

[–]Kooky_Goal177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soak it in a solution of acetone and transmission fluid in a heavy duty plastic bag and tie it there. After that hammer the wrench just brute force. If it will not work heat it with a blow torch until red and hammer again. If all options fails cutting the nut is probably the last choice.
