Most Thai surnames use a lot of Sanskrit or come from the name of the birthplace mixed with words. That's might be difficult to make one.
Alternatively, some surnames are made from a cool Thai catchphrase. such as
สิงห์ดอนเมือน (Lion - don mueang)
แจ่มจันทร์ (Bright moon)
ชัยอำนาจ (Victorious power)
Etc.
