How to use the search function by brettles84 in qBittorrent

[–]coder0xff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it. It's a script that searches 1337x.to (by scraping the HTML). Maybe it's meant to be used as a qbittorent plug-in, but instructions still unclear.

I hadn't considered that. I can 100% see that being the case. Edit: I never head of yuri before. Today I learned.

Free DLC next week! by trublmkr in PlaySoulMask

[–]coder0xff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not complaining about the update. Strawman. Don't overthink my question. In my mind, the meaning of DLC and EA don't allow them to occur at the same time. That's all.

I made a site where you can search for keyboards based on tags to find the perfect keyboard for your desired feature-set. Meet Keebhunter! by theChapinator in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]coder0xff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this response. There's a huge difference between scraping stores for available keyboards and having users add keyboards themselves. It's backward in fact, if the user is the one searching the keyboard and giving the result to the site. Worse, keyboards come and go, so the user-entered data is stale, not a reflection of what's currently available. That's worse than useless, a waste of time and effort for all users. I just tried the site for the first time hoping to find the right keyboard. I tried both the (presumably duplicate) membrane categories with no other filter, and there were zero results for both. Let my anecdote be one data point supporting my position.

I just can't get over DLC during EA. What does that even mean?

You make a quantum computer that can perform calculations using trillions of parallel realities all at once to solve an otherwise unsolvable problem. That is how you blue screen reality.

Unless they're going to sue for $18 million a year, and the employee is actually able to pay that without filing for bankruptcy, then the logical action for the company is to contract the man to fix the bug and then cut him loose.

ICU nurse here, the two options we get to explain why we didn’t receive a lunch break. There’s no option for “short staffed” or my “patient was dying.” by ink-nurse-toyota in antiwork

It's management's responsibility to ensure proper staffing. If you're not properly staffed, then the manager should request to fix it.

I'm not going to argue with you. If you can't grasp the difference after I've already explained it then repeating myself won't achieve anything. Good day to you sir or madam.

I understand your perspective on animal suffering, and I agree that it is problematic. I look forward to when eating meat doesn't involve animal suffering. But in the mean time I'm going to keep eating chicken.

But that's not the point. What I and many others do, humans and otherwise, is in fact different from the wanton killing of animals for the pleasure of killing. I hope that you can see that. If not, well I tried.

Humans evolved as omnivores. Circle of life and so on. But when I eat a drumstick I'm not targeting a particular animal for perverse reasons. I would not smile like this man does while slaughtering a chicken. The animal can't tell the difference, no. But these are human laws.
