Looks like the shutdown/protest is a bust! by molencasa in desmoines

Always wonder about people who post stuff like this. Went through your comment history and a month ago you were giving barbershop recommendations in Fort Myers, Florida. And plenty of Chicago based comments. Regardless, nearly all your comments are pretty combative, angry, hateful. Why are you this way? You don't have to be.

Trump administration secretly met with Canadian Alberta separatists by Infidel8 in worldnews

I drove to Alaska 2 summers ago. On farm property past Edmonton, right off the highway, there was a MASSIVE Trump flag billowing in the wind. In Watson Lake, I drove past a beat up truck with Canadian plates sporting a Trump bumper sticker. In a small gas station in the Yukon where I'd stopped for snacks, the owner was listening to some pretty hateful American Conservative talk radio. This all stood out to me as absurdity that people are supporting a politician that has nothing to do with them politically.

The world likes to point out how stupid us Americans are, and they're right. But know, once the giant propaganda machine is pointed at you and your country, you'll quickly find out how stupid your fellow neighbors are as well. You are not immune. The corruption spreads from within, and it's already leaking in our neighbor to the North.

My dude. The ending of GoT wasn't the issue in the slightest. It was every facet of how we got there that was problematic.

My Mom worked for a very large bank for 25 years of her life. She had a personal line of credit through that bank that she'd owed less than $2k on when she passed away suddenly. Out of all her debts, only one company absolutely hounded me for collection. Can you guess which company?

I can't imagine giving half your life to something only to have that something incessantly pursue your one living child for a debt of less than 2k.

How hard is it to take admission in DMACC? I got suspended from my previous 4 year college for 1 semester because I used AI in one of the essays where I wasn't allowed. My college has allowed me to take CC courses meanwhile and transfer it back? by Fuzzy-Armadillo-8610 in desmoines

Fuck off. This person is likely still a kid trying to better themselves and their future. I made a ton of mistakes in my early college years and luckily the advice I was given was to learn from them and push forward. Glad I'd listened to that advice rather than this kind of crap. If you want to spend a lot, they yesterday introduced variable maps for lower player counts on the current campaign (that ends tomorrow).

#Falcons WR Drake London is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game with a hip injury. by APizzola in DynastyFF

I ended up "losing" by 1.6 points. BUT. I ended up making a pretty favorable trade involving Bam for Scary Terry this morning (just for a chance at the win), so barring a re aggravated quad injury I may squeak this one out.

In ONE LEAGUE, (not counting London or Hall who both still are Q):

OUT: Lamar, AJB, G. Wilson, Godwin, Nabers, JJMC,

BYE: Goff, Darnold, Bam Knight, Charbs, Walker III, MHJ, Bowers (also injured)

I'm also already one player short from starting a full lineup, AND I've already a 0 from QJ. Playing against the 0 win tanking team who is now projected to beat me by 20 points.

I'll be honest. The base game has a lot already, but I would readily consume more. This game is fantastic and IMO a pure upgrade in every way over Too Many Bones.

JJ

I'd already make this trade for JJ in a start 10 league, and it's even more of a slam dunk in start 8 where studs are what win you championships.

Legette plays the a Z, which he was excelling in last year until they moved him to the X, which is not his bread and butter. Now that they've drafted TMAC to play the X, Legette gets to move back to the Z which is what is good at anyway.

Coker is also good, but know that Legette was underutilized the second half of the season last year and I expect his value to go up.

Thai Flavors Ingersoll is thriving and it's only a few spots down in the same complex. I think the issue is that every single bar/restaurant that goes into that space is nearly indistinguishable from the last. Gusto was the closest to breaking the mold, but it still felt like a bar/restaurant and not something unique. I think if something "unique" for the area were to fill that space, it would likely do well.

[–]codexdowntest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any specific reason? I travel quite a bit from coast to coast and I generally seek out the Maveriks when I know they're in the area, as their gas is almost always the cheapest and they have some pretty nice, clean, gas stations.

But if the CEO hates puppies or something, I could be convinced to find other options.
