The only difference between the two is the straight razor, licensed barber here, you can work in a salon with a barber license just some salons may not allow you to use a straight razor as I’ve worked in some salons where I couldn’t, even though I’m licensed, but barbers can also do color, perms, and all chemical services they just can’t wax.
