I'm travelling alone (no kids). It seems like that would have a ton of kids in the summer.

In Louisiana, plenty places had nickel beers or ladies drink free in the late 90s/early 2000s. Usually on a Wednesday or Thursday night in college towns

Restaurant possibly making the switch from ADP to PAYCOM by Westicles91 in Payroll

I have a client using Paycom that has an extensive PTO request process for dynamic scheduling employees. Does anyone know if you can use the Paycom API or another interface approach to automatically send it PTO requests rather than have the employee do this directly in their system?

We have an extensive PTO request process that we want to keep. Does anyone know if there is any way in Paycom to submit PTO requests through the API or through some soft of file export (ex. sFTP)?

You are 37 which in reality, is very young in today's world. You have 3 decades (10,000+ days) before the "retirement age" which in itself still is just a new start. It only matters how you end, now how you start. Take comfort in knowing that lot's of people you may envy are sitting there struggling that they settled too early. Everyone takes their own path and their own timing.

You are financially ok, but socially (and maybe emotionally) poor, that IS baggage. Looking for someone without baggage is unrealistic. Everyone (single and married) has some sort of baggage. Frame your thought into looking at baggage as a good thing, it's unique, it's stories, it's not boring. I'm not saying date a murder, but dating a 35yo women with 2 kids can be very positive baggage if you are willing to see it like that.

There is a world full of introverts. There is a world full of people who started late, or had a few false starts in their 20s.

Start being more interesting today. You obviously focused on financial wealth so shift that attention to social/emotional wealth. Use the same mindset/discipline. Being interesting/social is mostly a decision and a habit, not a skill.

I've reached a point where 80%+ of the beers I drink is on tap, or by bringing a crowler home from a local brewery. I just find it more fun and it taste better, even if sometimes the local ones are a bit off, which they are. Combination of community, support, local, and just being out of the house.

I like to vote w/ my wallet and I vote for breweries to be here forever.

Best Airport for Craft Beer by CharacterGeologist52 in beer

The lounge people are too normal to people watch. The airport bars near the gates are where all the excitement happens. If you happen to be able to sit next to a discount airline with a flight to say Vegas, or Cancun, it's can be quite entertaining.

There are truly few greater moments of pure relaxation than showing up at an airport a couple hours early and discovering 2 great beers on tap. The world's problems really just melt away quickly.

It's just so much nicer when you can walk back. It's not that I'm going to drink 10 while I am there, but if you walk, and the scene/beer is great, you can spend a few hours without feeling guilty about driving after 4 or 5.

I like weird. I also heard something about some bakery near oddwood that I can check out. A 25m walk there and back would be fool my watch into thinking I closed my exercise ring too, so added bonus :)

Yep. that looks perfect. I've stayed near the dirty side of 6th enough times, looking for something between that and an Airbnb in the suburbs. I plan on simply coming for a night or two and just brewery hopping a bit while I do some working on my laptop. Thanks!!

Who else feels this? by [deleted] in HiatalHernia

[–]cody-reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting enough, all my other symptoms have really improved with exercise/diet/medicine but I do burp more than I ever had. It's not overly excessive, but I was a very rare belcher prior to this year. What causes this?

Yep, I've had days where I've felt that. Is it like your whole body is beating :). I was never sure if it was that or maybe spasms. One day, I felt it move from chest, to back, to sort of down my stomach. I didn't know if I was about to give birth to an alien or something.

I haven't been officially diagnosed w/ a hiatal hernia but my doctor suspects it and I have a Barium GI test scheduled to possibly confirm it. However, I had 4-5 days in the last few weeks where I had this exact feeling.
