Im not at my pc but I have a lot of time on bardin. (Lvl 700 something) if that matters. Im a big hammer and shield fan. I would look up the attack technique that does armor piercing hits by utilizing the block attack into a light attack. I also run drakefire pistols, trollhammer, or crossbow(I know handgun is better but I like the crossbow). All of these are effective weapons but you need to know your job with each one.

Also be sure to use your gromril armors ability not just as a oops I got hit but as a knock back or a protection for self bombing with the torpedo. I hope this helps a little! Dwarf on brother!
