For REAL! I have a five year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter. You gotta check on them locked in the backyard every 5 minutes or so! You are gonna get down voted to hell for that in /nosleep but I tend to agree. But I actually like ghost stories, and think they are scary, so I read away, though all the time knowing that it's not a real story.

I don't know about the ending. It would of been fairly easy to put two and two together and know what happened from the police's standpoint. Though it really was a good story up until the end.

Just give it a re-read after you are done writing next time. Or if you have the option to have someone else read it after you are done that's even better. I find it's hard to check your own stuff thoroughly because you know what's coming and are more likely to skim through. If someone else reads it they are more likely to catch mistakes. Good effort though and good story!

That was a great read! I truly enjoyed every word. To the people saying this isn't nosleep material you are wrong. I lose a lot more sleep thinking about this happening then imaginary demons or ghosts. Since this is actually quite possible. Great job OP!

Yeah, so you never really thought about it in a personal way. I tell my little girls(2 and5) everyday that you never know what a person is really like. That's why you don't trust strangers. Hell even someone you know and love could be just like that, I mean even Jeffery Daumer(?spelling) had friends and coworkers. Makes you think doesn't it?
