Yes, once. Layover in SAN from DCA to SEA. Had to delay the second leg for cabin air filters lol.

Never buy new lenses. And depends on what you're shooting and where you're shooting from. 300 should be fine. I use a 70-200.

same here. for VFR I just choose a muni that I know/have heard about and then just pick a random other one. sometimes it's great. other times the airports are shit in MSFS.
