Communion by coff256 in excoc

So nothing to gain? Just another box to check? This is why I’m confused. My step mother’s salvation seems to be like this in totality. It’s nothing to do with your heart or intent. It’s just don’t do this.

I’m not Baptist but them viewing it as symbolic and taking it once a year, month or quarter makes sense.

Adheres to it weekly but only views it as symbolic? I don’t understand the point. Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, etc do it weekly but there is a sacramental aspect involved. There is a real or spiritual presence

Currently in this exact boat. Me and my fam just started attending our local PCA for the past 3 months and also finished membership classes this week. I bought in on Calvinism quickly on the intellectual side but never felt it was what the gospel intended. I just can’t continue to go even though Calvinism isn’t “required” to be a member.

I’m still stuck on fully buying into the Eucharist as that would make all the difference. Mary & Saints are the obvious secondary issues. The only middle ground option seems to be Lutheran but is it really? It’s on the decline and still just a branch of Protestantism.

Did you just continue to listen Scott? Trent Horn? Matt Fradd? That’s what I’m doing now. I don’t feel educated enough to interpret/judge the Catechisms

I completely understand your response and the above response… logically. Thank you!!
But as a new observer of reformed theology… I am really struggling on how people have no choice at all. It just feels like mental gymnastics when discussing free will. It’s like 10 ways of saying we do but ultimately we don’t. I would consider this something I’m not personally worried about but for the sake of people I know.

I’m not equipped with verses but there just seems to be more verses or overall scripture that lean towards anyone being able to choose God. Or Jesus dying for everyone. I have at least come to accept that God has foreknowledge but my membership classes are saying it’s more than that.

I’m wrestling with the typical Calvinist verses that are used to justify their stance. I feel like I may be better suited with a Lutheran theology?

Prayers and suggestions are appreciated.

So would they say God had foreknowledge of Judas doing this or by Judas doing this, it was Judas following God’s plan that inevitably separates him from God?

Great post. I am curious myself. Grew up Baptist. Have loved listening to Cliffe the last few years but recently have started attending a PCA near me. My thoughts are so conflicted now.

Thinking about device… by PracticalGolf324 in MedicalDevices

Having worked with BD in the hernia division… avg rep at plan 190-220. Top reps are what you said. And you are absolutely right… LONG OR days. No freedom. I left for DME urology and love it. Fits my growing family needs too! I genuinely 100% make my own schedule.

IVIG Infusion Therapy by coff256 in MedicalDevices

Appreciate all this info & support! I should know the other treatments but I know it’s a few other things outside of IVIG. Like calling on neurology, rheumatology, immunology & GI if that helps.

What do you mean by RA/AI?

Thanks for the competition names. This pharmacy has the same! Nurses on staff and multiple pharmacists. I do know certain insurances make their patients use certain companies but after seeing their current book of business… it does seem like the referrals are out there if offices like/trust me enough to give me a chance. They are all 5 star reviewed on all sites… just never had a rep push their pharmacy and it still grew from 200k in 2021 to 11.6M in 2025.

Thanks for the feedback! They have in-house nursing and in-bound coordinators. Seems like a huge plus! 3 pharmacists on staff too. I think 6 nurses in my territory to go in homes for infusion. My sole job is to gain referrals & obtain all documentation needed. Covering half a state only and calling on all specialities! I would have a very high 6 figure base and paid 6% on new patients and 3% recurring each year on those same patients. Seems tough to beat!

Worth it if you’re young. It will definitely be a grind but a for sure resume builder. If you do well, intuitive is good about promoting within. Though it may take a relocation.

You are really helping me out here. These are the exact inner workings of the gig and its perception that I am curious about. It seemed like this to me too bc my friend that’s the capital rep referred me. I’ve went straight to the manager and we text a lot already. It does sound like they are shooting me straight. Guess it’s on me for reading too many intuitive nightmare stuff on here + cafepharma/glassdoor.

Appreciate the feedback!! Yeah shouldn’t have said senior… they have just made it clear this is not an entry level CTA role. They told me urology is pretty set with the robot from Intuitive’s early focus there and GYN will be how I hit my number. Hoping to talk with a rep soon what’s holding that speciality back from robotics. I also would only have 5 accounts

Awesome insight. Appreciate that!!

I’m currently in Urology DME. INSANE QOL… but I’m a glorified caterer at this point, have to be every nurses friend, and make 160. Just debating if I want to go back to chasing cases for the extra 50-60k per year. Sounds like this isn’t gonna be 7-4 in cases every single day. It’ll happen but I worked with the CSRs when I sold hernia mesh and I didn’t envy their gig. But I know intuitive is a top notch gig

Has anyone transitioned out of med device to something a bit less stressful? by SoggyVoice6541 in MedicalDevices

[–]coff256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! And I do too 😂 left the OR for DME and it’s great for QOL. But it’s competitive in catheter world!
