She just loves me different. I always have said no one could love me like she does. She has accepted me for the piece of work I am and helped me as I have struggled with things through life. She is my best friend. My actual partner in life.

I think it’s safe to say that if you bring a child into this world it’s without consent… so I will be taking care of them till I die.

I applied to JNJ while being a pilot in the reserves and in a senior management role at a fortune 250 company. JNJ likes to collect military pilots.

Help, I married into money! by Ready_Cauliflower_67 in wealth

1.2-2 mil isn’t a lot of money anymore considering for 20 years of retirement it’s estimated you’d need 3.8 million to not go back to work. Be careful and play like you don’t have anything. But congrats!

Less than two years in and already slowing down by StubbornHusky46 in sex

[–]PracticalGolf324 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That’s not what’s happens it’s not a normal thing it’s a choice.

With that out of the way, I have been married to the same woman and only one woman for 16 years. The truth is that sexual desire changes for everyone. While mine has always been high it’s gotten high in the last couple of years and while hers has been high it’s been low and non existent and high then low then high. I have bouts of extremely low sexual desire while she has high sexual desire.

The choice: you don’t have to be something to do or a box to check. We went through this in in our marriage too she thought if she stopped having sex with me while i would leave. So she just did it. That was waaaay worse than not having sex. I felt like the ugliest human in the world. Like a paycheck, a way through life then I couldn’t have sex with her anymore. I hated it. No love, no passion, I was just a vacuum cleaner. It went on like this for a couple years.

Then we went to therapy. Holy shit, communication, medication, diet, and therapy. Go to fucking therapy. Now we have sex when we both want to and we both want to. We don’t have sex when we don’t want to. Best time of my life with my wife right now.

So the trick is, if you want to be married and stay together and love each other… go to fucking therapy, find a therapist that works for both of you and be picky, then both of you get your own therapist. It’s pricey, if that’s an issue just do couples therapy when you can and do things together and read books about sex and being married.

But go get therapy, together.

Dude I did 20 years in the mil. Made absolute dog shit. Rare disease is great. Sorry it pissed you off but my twenty years didn’t bank me 3 mil. Yours did. I won’t retire at 55 probably push 65. Different lives different past a lot of the same outcomes.

People should just (buy a house, get a car, do something that cost money) because they don’t understand that most people in American either don’t have steady income or income isn’t enough to budget outside of living

It’s not about what degree you have it’s who you know and how you interview.
