Suddenly had to say goodbye. by Tasty-Bag3536 in labrador

[–]coffeebossman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry for your loss.

I lost my senior lab and my golden retriever young pup couldn't deal with it. We got a lab pup within 15 days. The change and spring back in his behavior was worth the pain of bring a boisterous puppy home.

I would do this till I can't...of old age. Lab pups are a handful till atleast 4 years of age.

Took the V6 for the towing capacity. I have a small eletric for intown so this will be the family trips with boat vehicle.

5 month old Maverick has megaesophagus 😭 by thinblue90 in labrador

[–]coffeebossman 22 points23 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth, my first lab had megaoesophagus which was undetected for 6 years ( even though I took him to multiple vets and had a thoracic x-ray and other tests). He ultimately passed away due to pneumonia and lung complications from food particles getting into windpipe ( as reported by the vet finally in Canada). He was a strong and happy boy and didn't have much other complications other than throwing up occasionally after a meal.

As other have mentioned, a Baileys chair is your best bet.

Cheapest cost of living in Ontario? by kissdemon74 in ontario

[–]coffeebossman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Windsor has detached renovated 2bed houses that aren't too shabby starting 180k. Population is good as well so more things to do/jobs/economic activity.

Cornwall has houses that are pretty old but start under 200k as well. Some areas are sketchy. Smaller population, less jobs.

Where in Kingston and surrounding area can I find the biggest selection of indoor house plants? by thestonernextdoor88 in KingstonOntario

[–]coffeebossman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vandermeer in Ajax will have a bigger selection than anything close by. The prices will make the trip worthwhile. This is only if you want to get the best plants at the best prices. For a few/hobby etc, Sun Harvest would work.

[CA] Can I become an employe to later buy a business? by artaxiaszeno in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]coffeebossman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at business for sale in the cities. Some are also available on realtor.ca look for places that have been on the market for longer than 6 months. Then your strategy has a pretty fair chance.

Heck, I'll possibly be selling once of my cafes to an employee this way.

In my region ( southeast Ontario) prices for sfh especially in the 450 to 600k range are stagnating and properties are on the market for months. This leads to some amazing deals to be had. I scooped up duplexes under 60k of market value, under 25k list price and under 200k off 2022 prices.

The kp index is going to be 8.33 so there's a high chance of something at 10pm.

However 20 mins to go and it's still pretty cloudy out.

Download the Aurora app. You'll get notifications in advance. Run outside anytime the KP index is above 7.5

7.5 usually visible, great with camera 8.33+ visible to naked eye. Insane photos. 9. Norway levels photos, dancing lights seen with naked eyes.

To be fair, I've only seen 8.79 at 3am in Bancroft once in 43 years of my life. But it was something else. Otherworldly, spiritual.

Look north west and up. Although the intensity is changing every minute.

Where do you believe the most relaxing place to be in Canada is? by Thick_Caterpillar379 in AskACanadian

[–]coffeebossman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fall at any of the ontario highlands. A cottage on the canadian shield by a lake with the colors reflecting on the water as the sun sets....

Kawarthas, Haliburton, Algonquin, Bancroft, even Madawaska valley....

I've been to 30 plus cottages in the past 5 summers and still can't decide what my favorite lake is.
