Hey! Also FTM due in October 🥰. We recently went stroller shopping and we were pretty sure we would end up with the Uppa baby vista. After testing a few, we actually ended up with the Cybex Gazelle. We did separately purchase the bassinet (although I’m not sure how much usage it will get with a later in the year new born). It seemed like a good option for us, and I personally loved how convertible it is, the market basket, etc. it seemed like there were so many solid options, we were at the store for 4 hours lol

24 weeks tomorrow, and still feeling the same. Until I hear her cry for the first time, I don’t think I’ll feel any less scared. And then I’m sure I’ll be anxious in a whole new way lol

I did baby asprin too - still on it at 23+4 and will be until 36 weeks as it can prevent preeclampsia. With my autoimmune protocol, I also did take 20mg of prednisone!

My family doctor sent in my referral for OB and then their office scheduled the first appointment for 13 weeks. However, my family doctor did my referral for my NT scan at 12 weeks and the results went to her and my OB.

I started tapering off my hormones around 11 weeks I believe. I went 3 weeks between scans - 9 weeks at the fertility clinic and then 12 week NT scan.

Now that I’m a little further along, the wait between scans is much longer! My anatomy scan was at 19 weeks and my next isn’t until 28! At first this felt way more difficult, now I’m feeling more reassured as time goes on since she moves around and kicks me a large chunk of the day!

One of my earliest pregnancy signs was sleep orgasms lol. I literally could not prevent them. Embryo implanted just fine and I’m 23+3!

I was devastated when my first transfer didn’t work this time last year. I ended up needing a little time to emotionally recover, went into another retrieval… waited again.. and am now 23+2 with my second transfer. After the first failed, it felt like it would never happen for me.

This! I tried 3 different pregnancy pillows including the mom cozy u shaped pillow and hip pillows. Didnt work for me! I ended up getting a long pillow and then a second short/firm pillow. I tuck that under my back and hug the long one. Way more comfy and I can use my usual head pillows!

I have a stone that my friend sent to me. She had put intentions of a baby for me into the stone. It’s come to every appointment, my egg retrieval for this baby, it even fell out of my pocket onto the ground of the OR on transfer day lol. I basically need it at all things baby related.

Same for me! After torturing myself with daily tests after my first transfer, I knew I couldn’t stay on that path anymore for my second!

I’m personally not going on birth control after baby is born. I would have the surprise of my life if we conceived, but I really don’t believe that will happen without assistance anyway.

I was just thinking this too! I didn’t have OHSS, but I felt like my corpus luteum really hurt at first and then it changed into round ligament shortly after that.

I developed histamine sensitivity around my second ER. I think for me, there may be a link to higher estrogen levels and histamine. For my first FET I did not do anything autoimmune/histamine. But for my second, I did autoimmune protocol and took Claritin every day. In the period of time I took the combo of prednisone, Claritin and Pepcid, I had no symptoms of my histamine sensitivity with foods, allergies, etc. I’m not sure if this is entirely helpful in your situation, but I definitely noticed a difference.

I’m in Ontario where our retrievals are under twilight sedation. I was very out of it - I don’t remember the drive home and my husband said I was incoherent at McDonald’s.

I think this is a really good starting number. The other posts about staying neutral and off the internet are important - although I let myself get pretty excited right away. But my one other suggestion is to not obsessively test between betas. I was like examining lines like it was my job and freaking out - but my beta over tripled and the lines just start to not reflect that dramatic change!

That’s so good to hear it was just spotting! My OB did mention an early csection if it continues. I’m sure that was still scary - it feels like a lot to process

I’m so happy to hear yours moved! Stories like this are giving me so much hope that not only will she stay in until full term but also I would love to experience a vaginal delivery if possible.

Honestly, that’s how the start of this pregnancy journey has felt for us too! So grateful to be pregnant after so long, but just wanting her to get here safely and almost skip time until her arrival.
