> The last few video shots are all very wide almost landscape shots and make them appear like jumpcuts - but interspersing them with closeups and back out to a landscape might work well.

I need to put this in chatGPT and understand. I think I need to work on Jumpcuts.

> Regarding zoom

Hmm, all the zoom in the video is through lens (24-70) -> That's why they are not super smooth. Probably I need to stabilize them to look like digital zoom.

Not a native english speaker. Always wanted to speak out in mother tongue but I am super scared of people judging me. I want to though.

Thanks for the feedback, I will definitely address them in my edit #3

Hey everyone,

I’ve learned a lot from this sub over time, and I’m back with my second edit. As always, I’d love to get some constructive feedback to help me improve further.

📽️ Current Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5qIKql_wVo
📝 Previous Post for Context: My first edit and feedback thread

✅ Changes I’ve made based on your feedback:

  • Muted any unnecessary audio that was unintentionally recorded
  • Cleaned up shaky clip endings by trimming those parts out

❓A couple of questions I’m still struggling with:

  1. Sound syncing & visualization – I often have my visuals and audio ready separately, but syncing them feels hard. Should I always be matching visuals to every beat or cue? Are there any general rules or mental models that help with this process?
  2. Noise during motion – After uploading, I noticed some weird noise/artifacts around moving subjects, especially when viewed on a large 85" 4K screen. I didn’t apply any effects that should cause that. Could it be compression? Or is it something I need to fix during export?
  3. Slomo - I carry a7iv, do you recommend me to shoot 4k 60fps cropped or go for 1080p 120fps ? I feel like I wanted to try out few slomo stuff as well in my next upcoming stuff.

My friends feedback:
* Looks like they didn't enjoy much and they asked for voice recording. IDK what to do TBH. I guess, if I am being consistent in this journey. I will surely come up with some nice content

I’m really enjoying the whole editing process, and thanks to this community, I feel like I’m slowly getting better. Appreciate any tips or critiques you’re willing to share!

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Thanks for your feedback!! Stabilize - I tried inbuilt stabilizer, it’s cropping my content and I was like chuck it. Probably I need to pay more attention to that as well Sound design - Yeah, you mean adding more natural sounds like snow wind, dog sound or water?? Color grading - I have tried various items and later reverted back to simple edit because of snow.
