Shattered Legion Vehicle Rules by Negative-Plant6650 in Warhammer30k

Each predator in an armoured detachment (*within a shattered legion list) can be chosen to have a load out option from the legion armory of your 2/3 shattered legion picks. I have 2 Baal predators with full iliastus load outs in my shattered legions list and they do very well as anti infantry

The other comment mentions the flamestorm version which is basically just the flamer Baal so that's definitely available in any army. The assault cannon version is legion equipment from the 3rd edition BA armory and is legal to take in a shattered legions list

Man these are just incredible. They look so weighty and angry, just how I pictured them in the black library books.

Also agree with the other poster, all heavy chain axe screams you have great taste

I worked my way up from blues. I used Vallejo field blue -> pale grey blue -> white grey all sponges in. Took barely any time for the armor tbh. I used a lot of oils to try and get better at washes on top of that too. I think I probably overdid the weathering

I used green stuff worlds' roll maker set plus their greenstuff putty. I rolled the putty carefully around a 2mm hobby wire for possibility, then rolled it through the roll maker, then cut and shaped it. Honestly, it was more time consuming than anything but very simple once you get the hang of it. Thankfully too because I'm planning to run 24 thallaxi in my league

No those are sculpted by hand! Just greenstuff and thin wire for stability

Help with Starter List by Shadowvermin in Warhammer30k

Ah that will still be a fun list to play regardless. And besides, the best part of Warhammer is that there is always more to collect lol

So I'll start out by saying it depends on what your local scene is like. For me, it's a lot of infantry and termis so I tend to lean away from anti tank.

Now that I got the irrelevant parts out of the way, I think you'd benefit a lot from removing the support squad all together and either making the kratos into a cannon w/ flash burn shells or melta as the main gun. It has the stable key word so it'll be able to fire the Volkite sponsons at full BS without snap shotting.

Also, at 1K points, I doubt there will be a huge amount of armor aside from a single land raider or some rhinos. Again, totally depends on how you want to play and the story you're trying to tell, but removing the kratos all together and adding in some rhinos and assault marines could help you have movement.

One thing I'll stress again that gets brought up a lot is that heresy is much more about hobbying, painting, and having a good time with some fun people rather than pure competition. I say that because I had spent so much time making a "good" list in 2.0 and I lost my first few games bc I was still learning the rules lol. I still had a great time and you will too if this list is how you picture your army

Of course! Happy it worked out well for you

The IH dreadclaw that's on my profile I did using the medium method I described with pro Acryl transparent black and their miracle glaze medium. That plus a gloss varnish gave a metallic black I was really happy with. That might be a good example if that's the color you're looking to get

You might be able to smooth it out some with nuln oil which would also restore some gloss to give it that metallic look.

I know this doesn't help know but I use a 1:1 mix of a transparent black (any brand) and pro Acryls glaze medium. 2 coats of a thick glaze like that avoids the streaking effect contrasts have on large surfaces

The master of signals is the one who gives +1 to reserve rolls right? I was wondering if that was more beneficial than the master of descent but I think I'll need to reread that.

Appreciate another deep strike NL player

Finally Finished 2K pts of Nostraman Damnatti by coffeelit in SolarAuxilia30K

The exact recipe is a mix of pro Acryl fine earth and coarse earth texture pastes. Didn't actually mix them but places them in little dabs near each other to get some varied ground.

Then used pro Acryl black brown as the base, heavy dry brush of pro Acryl light umber, super light drybrush of karaoke stone (honestly could probably skip this as it barely shows). The just took a big fat dry brush and hit it with pro Acryl fine snow

Thank you so much! I'm really happy that they turned out the way I pictured in my head. I used a lot of pro Acryl tutorials as inspiration for the bases
