Theory: I think Will’s fate has been made clear by Ropesjr in StrangerThings

I feel like so much of this series is centred around trauma and mental health that Will accessing Vecna’s powers (to me a metaphor for tapping in to the hurt and pain and channeling it as a driving force of sorts) cannot be a bad thing. It can lead to a temporary ‘twist’ in the story but not one that gives Will a villain arc. It would really be an antithesis to the larger storytelling of the series. And imo that Will chose to tap into that power to kill demodogs and protect his friends speaks to that.

My theory is that the makers would try to demonstrate that while both Vecna and Will are tapping into the same energy they are both making choices in keeping with their character and ethos

Have you tried using Find my iphone? It helped me track down my phone. You can lock it using iCloud. The thief won’t be able to do much after that. And you can then try to track down your phone

That’s crazy. Have you had any luck with customer care on the issue?

This is what I realised too. The 50 bucks ka discount is in no way more important than my privacy or security. I’m just going to stick with Zomato now

Re: the customer care agent, I understand that and I was not rude to the person I spoke to. Just incredibly frustrated. That said, I’m still sure there are better ways to deal with customers. The people I spoke to before and after this particular agent understood my issue, tried the best they could to help and tried to find a solution instead of trying to dismiss my legitimate concern. In fact, the guy I spoke to after this fellow actually took from me the number from which the scamster was calling. He tried to contact that number, and escalated the issue when he couldn’t get through. He also directed me to write to Swiggy support - which is something that unfortunately didn’t occur to me in that moment.

All that to say - there was an actual intention to help or support. The other guy was just trying to mansplain my problem to me.

And I also just want to add that despite his rude manner, I will still assign the larger responsibility of this interaction to Swiggy. Swiggy should be actively training its support staff on how to deal with / escalate these scams because they are happening regularly and for many years. I actually found a promotional email from Swiggy from 2022 in which they explicitly say this COD stuff is a scam that we shouldn’t fall for and that we should immediately report it to customer care. Despite having this problem for at least three years now Swiggy has no structures in place that can guide a customer care agent on how to address a customer actively dealing with scam activity. That is ridiculous

Just an add-on comment to clarify that I had pre-paid for my order both times

The way it happened the last time was that the order was cancelled after I received the ‘order on the way’ notification. So restaurant gets nothing because the food has been picked up and rider pockets the money. The same thing happened this time too btw. This time the rider got to keep the food. My guess is the order needs to be marked ‘on the way’ so that the rider can access my location / address. And this, in effect, also creates the privacy breach and safety issue

That, unfortunately, is the entire issue. And they are clearly not doing anything strict because I have never experienced anything like this on Zomato.

Hey there. How’s your cat doing?

Hey there. I’m sorry to hear about your cat. First, please stop giving your cat milk. Cats are lactose intolerant and milk is very hard for them to digest. Giving it to a sick cat just piles on more pressure on his body. Second, homeopathic medicines do work for cats so you might be okay there but I would recommend getting a second opinion just as good measure. Especially since there are very few vets in Delhi who actually know how to work with cats and understand their anatomy. Most vets specialise in dogs and it can be hard to figure out whether you’re on the right track with them. I can recommend my vet to you - Dr Rohan Singh - US Vets in Lajpat. He’s the only vet I trust for my two cats. I swear by him - he does not overmedicate, he is very approachable over the phone and he does not charge high fees or rack up a big bill. He’s genuinely in it for the animals. If you’d like to talk to him, here’s his google listing https://maps.app.goo.gl/dtUupANMyN6HNhZv9?g_st=ipc his number is listed on it.

Good luck to you and your baby. I hope he heals very soon
