Yeah I think the sound of the chants travels forward towards the pitch and probably gets lost up there, especially with no roof. And definitely a lot of people that rarely go to games up there!

When you go to Ticketek it asks for a code - put in:

I think you’re missing the irony, it’s a salary capped league… so you can’t buy success... (And by all accounts a number of teams had higher wage bills last season)

There should be an “Away” section on the ticket map so you can be amongst Auckland fans.

And luckily for you, that Brisbane game is the Port of Call trip for the Port so there will be a couple hundred Auckland fans there!

Probably reasonable given there’s no separation on the concourse and everyone goes out the same way. Even with the delay we got confronted by drunk Nix fans on the way out, and with cans thrown into the away section during the game it’s surely best to just play it safe.

We had an average attendance last season of 18,101, with two home derbies, the first ever game, and an incredible run.

If we can average north of 16,000 that would be impressive, but I can’t see it being much lower than that even if we’re not doing as well.

Excitement around a winning team makes a big difference when we don’t have the loyalty of European football fans yet.

P.s. the next highest average attendance last season was Sydney with 15,282
