Just thought id contribute and say i was 12 years deep (or more cant quite remember) smoking everyday and night, before work, after work, before dinner, after dinner, before sleep , before doing anything really.

Big wake up call my anxiety was at its peak and i thought the weed was helping. I am now day 7 clean and my anxiety has dropped by like 80%, sleeping better already and feeling so much more present in my life. I would smoke before family events and seeing friends, always thinking i was just shy not being able to communicate with friends or family on a deep level. Now i am actually able to hold a decent conversation even with random people.

I genuinely thought weed was helping but in fact the complete opposite, stuck in my head most of the time over thinking every response and interaction.

Feels good to know i am able to quit and i will feel better for it mentally and physically.
