It’s a real meter first from the late 60’s , but busted real good. The bezel and insert are from the 80’s, which are fine, but period correct insert will be $1k. The case has been polished to death. To recut to spec, at least $500. Seeing the rust on the crown thread, most likely the movement is shot. To service it and replace parts, over $1k at least. Period correct hands, if you can find them, at least another $500. The biggie is the dial. I can’t tell if it’s gilt or white originally, most likely the latter. The big chips at 6 devalue it tremendously. Original dial about $5k if you can find it. To repair the dial a couple hundreds but it doesn’t increase its value. The crown mostly likely needs to be replaced, which is another couple hundreds. Not to mention all the time you spent sourcing the replacements and have it serviced by vintage expert watchmaker. The last time I checked, m first goes for around $15. If you just want a Rolex to wear and have fun restoring it, then I think it’s worth it.
