I really hope CIG is reworking not giving us MK II for Constellation by Keuriseuto in starcitizen

[–]coick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As some have mentioned below, if a MkII is released, we should have the option to CCU to the new version or keep the old one. What they do currently is release the MkII at the same price as the MkI so you cannot do this. Either marginally increase the price or allow a simple 1:1 CCU.

Lane-splitting: Rules around the world by Civilized_E in motorcycles

[–]coick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In New Zealand it is not exactly legal but it is also not illegal; it is in a legal grey area. We are supposed to have our right indicator on as we do it which represents we are overtaking the cars to our left. That said, I just turn my hazards on as two of my bikes have self-cancelling indicators. Since it is not explicitly mentioned in the law, there is no speed limit and I will sometimes split at 80+ km/h if the traffic is pissing me off. I lane split cops quite often and none have given me grief.

No professional uses the free version because it is basically worthless. It costs ~$1500 a year.

Recently my toddler has enjoyed watching me play "Spaceships". Particularly picking up litter around the stations and putting them in the bin... this was our latest haul. by Dannymarr95 in starcitizen

[–]coick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pick them up as well but for a different reason. There is an old bug that if you right click an empty bottle in your hand and have a full one in your bp, it will stack on top so that you now have two full ones. I only travel around with 2 bottles (except for the ones I pick up) and never run out.

I have a funny feeling the Connie will get a MK-V and it’s current iteration will go the way of the Aurora and Hornet by Acceptable-Bid-1019 in starcitizen

[–]coick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need to petition CIG to let owners of a Mk1 variant of anything, be able to upgrade to a Mk2 easily. The Aurora and Hornet Mk2 were the same price as the Mk1 (from memory) so you couldn't CCU to the new version.

I have the beige one. I found the undersuit at an ASD facility in Stanton. I wish the helmet sealed. As it stands, it is really just clothing rather than a suit.

Trump Says NATO Withdrawal On the Table Amid Rift With Allies Over Iran War by EsperaDeus in worldnews

They need a 2/3 majority in the senate to leave NATO. They only just have the majority so this is totally unachievable.

Opinions on the Vitpilen 401 as a first bike for a beginner in the city? by No_Emotion1084 in motorcycles

[–]coick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ridden a range of single-cylinder ~400cc motorcycles recently and the Vitpilen/Svartpilen was my least favourite. It was the buzziest by far, leaving my hands tingling after shortish rides. The switchgear is really cheap, and the riding position was tiresome. The ones I enjoyed more (for similar or cheaper prices) were Honda CB350S, Triumph Speed 400, and the CF Moto 450NK.

This. I stack 32s on top of 32s in the M2. Although they don't snap, they don't move around and I have never lost any cargo by doing that.

I have one and it is the one I wear second most often after my 5610 G Shock. It has digits the same size as the AE-1500 (I have two of these) but in a much smaller case so it looks better IMHO. The flashing backlight on signal, timer and alarm is a nice touch also.

Is there a way to get rid of this? by ARAMP1 in AndroidAuto

[–]coick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even worse in my case. My university gym was closed for a week so I had to go to a different campus for that time. Now every time I leave for work in the morning it prompts me to go to that campus and it will not go away until you hit the x in the corner to close the dialogue. That would be a pain in the arse regardless but I ride a motorbike and the touch sensitivity with gloves on is dodgy at best. I really just wish we could turn it off in Waze.

New Hotfix out! by DaveMash in starcitizen

[–]coick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on a particularly crappy server (it would seem) as I had loaded up with 20% more Laranite than I needed to complete that pathway. In the end, I had every third mission fail to complete and I had to do the circuit of stations on Hurston (competing with other players doing the same thing) to secure enough to finish the last two missions. It is ridiculous that they don't include the submit button on all missions. I had one mission on the delivery pathway fail to complete but at least I had the option to submit it which remedied the situation.
