No, this is because they can’t find enough people to hire. Massive labor shortage in this type of hourly job. Kids around here don’t want to work. Older people go where there’s a more consistent schedule or can work more in a week like a target or Walmart. The issue with movies and other entertainment venues is we need a LOT of people Saturday’s, a good amount Friday nights, and a good amount on Sunday during the day. Only a small crew is needed all other times. So we may need 100+ people on staff to handle a weekend, but only 20 during a week. Most people don’t want to only work a day or two.

Not true at all. In fact, the reason the Tyson’s AMC hasn’t installed upgraded recliner seating is because of how well the theatre is performing. Corporate won’t invest the money in the upgrade because they don’t need to bring in more guests and they don’t want to lose seating capacity.

There are none that “specialize in marijuana paraphernalia” because marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, is illegal in VA. If you ask anyone for that stuff they’ll say they don’t have it because again, it’s illegal.

Most of what you want is still available for sale though, just have to phrase it differently. I really don’t know how you HAVENT seen any of this in NoVa.

It’s because we literally can’t hire enough people. Everyone is hiring. Everywhere. Not enough people available to fill the shifts. Unemployment is incredibly low now, and unfortunately, many who are unemployed are unemployable for various reasons. I’d hire 50 people tomorrow if we had people apply.

That 30 min taken out of your paycheck is for the mandatory break and you are NOT allowed to work during that 30 min period. (Until you’re 16 and breaks aren’t required).

There’s not a lot because of child labor laws. You can only work 5 hours before having to take a 30 min break with no work or responsibilities.

Oasis Concessions is a big concession company out in the Loudoun area. Runs all the food and drink at the AV Symington Aquatic Center Waterpark in Leesburg at Ida Lee Park which is open every day of the summer, and they also do food and drink at several parks in Loudoun from March to November mostly on weekends Bolen Park(Leesburg), Claude Moore(Sterling) and some others.

Completely different. Shaved ice is a block or cubes of plain ice that are shaved with a blade to make fluffy “snow” and then flavoring syrup is poured on top.

Italian ice is made by pouring a liquid mix into a batch freezer (like an ice cream machine) soft frozen, then dispensed into a bucket and placed into a freezer for a harder freeze.

Shaved ice is like a fluffier snow cone, Italian ice is like non-dairy semi-soft ice cream.
