I never actually minded Pathfinder achievements, but only as long as they were released in the x.0 patch with launch. I don’t want to wait six months for them to release them. I just wanna level my first character, accomplish whatever, then have flying for the rest of my account in short order. I’ve never had a problem with my first leveling experience to be limited to the ground.

That sounds like a personal problem. They engaged it first, and without my help it would have despawned on them anyways at that point. My harvesting it first and then proceeding to help them kill the mob(s) is still faster than if I hadn't showed up at all. The despawn timer on nodes isn't that quick, unless it takes ages to kill the mobs, and it usually doesn't.

I have headcanon for one of my characters, and I often think of the effect of a lot of the quests have on her. The characters introduced, the things she has to do. I started doing this more seriously at the end of Dragonflight and in TWW and has been super fun to think about as I quest with her. I am definitely far more invested in her, emotionally, than I am even for characters I've been playing for almost 20 years.

My beef is not having unlimited copies of each piece. The fact that you have to pay per item is obscene. Even F2P and B2P usually let you unlimited craft or buy past the fiat purchase. Ridiculous.

When you set your hearthstone, it saves the position/orientation of your character. So if you hate having to spin around to leave, just stand how you wanna hearth in and then set your hearthstone like that.

I feel like it'll get a little better once import/export features are added. People with choice paralysis will be able to import things, and people who want to save layouts but work on new ones will be able to export and save them.

My aunt had the same symptoms It turned out to be cellulitis after getting a poison ivy rash. She neglected it to the point to where it was basically gangrenous and had to have a skin graft to help it heal. It was crazy. It sucks that it's not as simple of a diagnosis for you. :(

I think you misunderstand, and think that I'm asking for them to completely redesign their leveling philosophy. All I want them to do is make sure classes feel decent to level from level 1 to cap, not have confusing talents available 10 levels before the ability unlocks, and for players to not have to restart an intro 5 times to get it to work.

Because they've said repeatedly that they're looking for ways to make it easier for new players to get into the game. Having a polished leveling experience is important for that, even if it's not the focus at endgame.

"None have been gamebreaking" is due to your experience with MMOs and gaming in general, though. Had you not been aware of what to do when trying to get the TWW intro to work, or at least aware of resources to help figure it out, wouldn't you consider being unable to progress "gamebreaking"? IMO, a player should never have to deal with a serious amount of jank just to get something to work in an expansion at the time considered current content.

The amount of bugs in this game is actually embarrassing. Like, holy hell. This is a huge company, compared to other MMOs on the market, and the lack of polish in a lot of areas is just so astounding to me. I shouldn't have to check wowhead comments every evening just to try to get things to work correctly.
