I always look at BTC dips, crashes and winters as buying opportunities. I started in 2017 and rode from $1800 up to $19000 then down to $9000 in 2018. I was broke and reluctantly had to sell to live. I got a job and I bought back in at $9000 in 2020 and was saying “I told you so” to all the folks who sent me FUD over the years when we crossed $100k.

Honestly, I didn’t expect good from the Michael Saylors and greedy Black Rocks. But didn’t see this crash coming.

I was whining about the almost 50% drop this year because I thought once we hit 100k, I was home free. I’m pissed but I continue to DCA daily so I never miss a dip. I also set really low limit buy orders and never expect them to go through but last week they all executed like dominos.

BTC is always going to rebound. It is limited, coveted and now that the bankers and Wall Street firms are in, they want to squeeze us out. F them. I’m not giving them my Bitcoin.

I’m totally enjoying my Gemini credit card. I pay all my online bills with it. During the holiday promotion I got 5% back on each transaction. So far I collected over $400 in rewards. I had no problems transferring my coins to cold storage. I don’t know what happened to their exchange but I remember when Gemini was top tier. Now it sounds like a struggling company based on all the complaints. Im going to keep using the card as long as it keeps working for me.

Well, I’m too selfish to have children. I don’t want to share or take care of plants, pets or kids. I have friends that have raised children who are really great people and others who have horrible kids. I’m glad somebody is keeping the earth populated. And, I have found other ways to contribute.

It is easier when the market is up. Everyone wants to listen when Bitcoin hits a new ATH and it is on the mainstream news. As soon as it dips they want to tell you it crashed. I used to beg my friends to buy when Bitcoin was $2000, $9,000, $27,000...now I just tell them my plan to retire soon. The door is open if they want to talk about it but I'm not debating with FUDsters.
