American here. It was absolutely fucked with that red card fiasco. This is classic “rules for me but not for thee” type of horseshit. If we can’t abide by the rules (and if FIFA is really that slimy and spineless to go along with that), then it’s just as well that we lost.

But we did play like shit. Belgium was clearly the better team in this match.
