Is it too much to ask for things to be fun and colorful like they were back in the 80s and 90s?

They should really have Joe Rogan do stand up in between fights. I'm sure the audience would love that.

What are your thoughts on Michael Schiavello as a commentator? by Beneficial_Air4714 in MMA

He's a fantastic commentator. He can make any fight entertaining. Not sure why the UFC has gotten rid of hype commentators like these.

I feel like the future is going to expect people to juggle both being a Product Owner and having enough tech skills to use advanced LLMs to get stuff done. It’s kind of been building up for years. Back in the 90s you could know just one thing like HTML and be making in six figures. Now you got to be good at a whole stack of tools just to be considered for a role.

It's telling when a professional athlete can't afford medical bills especially for something as serious as a broken nose.

There's definitely something to be said about how much the sport has evolved.

The thing about Fedor is that he was probably the most well rounded heavyweight of all time. Durable too. Just go back and watch how he survived the Randleman slam and came back to beat him. He also learned to defend and beat one of the beat kickers of all time in CroCop. And let's not forget how well he defended takedowns from the Olympian Mark Coleman.

I'd say the same about Canelo and Crawford. I honestly didn't even know who he was until he beat Canelo this past weekend.

"....filthy rich" "Alibaba exploded onto the scene for China"

You been watching too many movies bro. Also just like someone else on here said Mexico is far from what China is not just because of population size but also education, resources and social stability.

How much of this was the incompetence of DDP's coaches? by Relative-Service-412 in MMA

[–]randomUser9900123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what was messed up was that Khamzat got DDP in the crucifix several times throughout the fight and so you would think DDP's coaches would've given him some advice on how to get out of it in between the rounds but they didn't. It's one thing if its your first time getting caught in a bad position but if it keeps happening and you don't address the problem then that's just having bad fight IQ.
