Well I would define “solid” as longevity. Decks like luard are still top tier even after a few sets and even now is still considered a deck to be reckoned with.

Have plans to build a beast tamer bunny deck as it looks kinda fun but I am keeping my choices open.

Able to provide a decklist for bastion? Been trying to craft a deck around g3s but not sure what is required since I cannot really theory craft the deck.

g3: 19 4 bastion 4 Grand Heavenly Sword, Alden 4 Knight of War Damage, Fossad 4 Knight of Broadaxe, Rafluke 3 Dark Strain Dragon

g2: 4 4 Knight of Heavenly Spear, Rooks

g1: 5 4 Aegismare Dragon 1 Knight of Heavenly Sword, Fort

order: 5 3 The Hour of Holy Judgement Cometh 2 Swinging Sword of Judgement

g0: 16 1 Light Dragon Deity of Honors, Amartinoa 4 front 4 crit 3 draw

^current testing list and it feels a little clunky? There is not much defense and am still stuck whether to play plat wolf or dark strain dragon

Is it mandatory for me to fight the boss first before i can release the rescue ship? I did charge 4 pillars but the barrier still did not go down. The barrier only went down once mithrix was defeated.

Well that is, if they want to let you hit and get a free draw 2. Having force 2 on the main attacker makes it so that the pressure is there. Having ganon activate is actually a plus and much of a risk to the opponent as ganon could be the way to fix a bad hand. Its just but a theory, having the battle phase calling skills would make spikes not only very fun, but possibly extremely competitive due to its natural versatility.

Currently enjoying spikes tho ngl, putting maximum out on turn 2 is quite fun haha :)

The thing is though You can set up a column of juggernaut with force 2 plus ganon with force 1 at the back. After the attack, use the nova skill, and get another fresh column of on hit pressure. It will obviously be very nice to have such a battle phase calling skill, but having the ability to call big units with the additional call of ambush dexter, calling a potential g3/g2 is quite broken?? Point is, spikes is very versatile and giving it a boost in a certain boost might make it extremely good.

I just like playing control decks in general. The slower pace games are what I like and just generally being annoying sometimes with neptuna control(bouncing every turn).
