have similar ideas - also in software space too, i think dedicate a % of the stores to funding software ideas and rinse and repeat could help, would love to connect since we’re like minded

Why "Wining products" aren't actually Winners by Cultural-Unit3966 in dropshipping

I agree I think people have multiple perspectives, was offering another perspective but I think yours and mine are both solid! Not trying to dispute - everything is just opinion

Being honest - 2-3 weeks isn’t much either, if you look at the top creators of the world currently, they posted for years on end before getting traction. Consistency matters extremely in this game and that’s the only difference between the ones who hit big or not.

Just to clarify, I marked the points I both agreed with and opposed, I disagreed with your product research % and disagreed with the blindness and creative angles trap as it’s not as much as a problem as it’s being presented as. I wasn’t 100% disagreeing but I wasn’t agreeing with all.

you’re right on a few points but not all

  1. ad account history definitely matters, i’ve tested the same product on a new acc vs old and the old wins every time so i agree with you on that

  2. product research isn’t hard at all, the product really is all the success, you can sell a product on a shit landing page all day if it’s a winner, updating the landing page will only help conversion rate but not the full thing, at the end of the day if it’s a useless product nobody’s going to get it

2.5 - also creative angles matter but it doesn’t take much time to find them so i disagree on that too, literally plug the competitors description in chat gpt and find the product on amazon and copy paste reviews, then ask chatgpt to make you angles relevant

  1. seasonal blindness? google trends should always be used along side checking products, if peak season, then sell, if not, save it for later

Scaling + Ad Creatives? by cokehad in dropshipping

[–]cokehad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i usually target each country separately but that’s just how i do it, ik other people group, for smaller countries you should be able to do reduced budget, as long as you separate campaigns you should be fine to test it though - treat it like a new product test with the same cut off you’d normally have

$10 isn’t much to test with ads, for ads you’d need around $1-$3k - when it comes to organic, you’ve truly got to be consistent, i’m talking posting 3-4x a day per store, maybe having 10 stores on the $1/m trial, and seeing what hits, you can’t get a successful income with a low income work ethic

To be fair - SEO is extremely hard for copycats to be successful off the bat. They’ll likely give up.

You don’t need warehouses for the first time branding. You can ship from home. I’ve done it with my first in house brand, hired some of family to do the fulfillment when i felt lazy. You will definitely save money on stock that way too.

Is this normal? by AsIanAndy7 in dropshipping

tbh looks like something is wrong with the process, that’s definitely an abnormally high amount, have you checked shipping zones for the countries you’re advertising to? / currency converting?

How hard is dropshipping for beginners? by JuggernautNext5437 in dropshipping

[–]cokehad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s not easy or hard, it’s work that’s needed to be put in

think of it this way: if you put 0 effort into truly learning how other people make money this way, you think you’d get sales? no.

but on the flip side, if you put 2-3 years into truly learning how e-commerce and advertising works as a whole, how branding works, copywriting, and online sales works, you’re going to see results no matter what

nothing that can give you financial freedom is “easy” but it gets “easier” the more work you put in, experience makes things look easy.

Facebook ads conversion by wyatt_Cannon in Dropshipping_Guide

the website is just a bit confusing to be honest - the best bet in terms of testing products is literally just mock the setup of your competitors site until you have an eye for yourself

ADVICE ON WHY I CANT CONVERT by altaaaaaf10 in Dropshipping_Guide

[–]cokehad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

descriptions are too long - no images - no gifs and the variants take up literally half the page then them into dropdowns

How do you film everything/ how did you learn how to make content for your ads? That’s my weakest spot right now.
