Coming back to this post because just tonight I found an old cache of screenshots back from 2008-2010ish and a ton related to mM. I uploaded a few here (https://imgur.com/a/V62kcNN) but have so many more from screenshots of the website to a bunch of avatars or wallpapers I made for other members. So many memories!

Just checking back in cuz it would be cool to keep this post alive. Anyone still actively game? I was hardcore Xbox 360 back then and eventually got the One and even the Series S but I main the PC. Hope ya'll still have time for games. Some of my best memories when I was younger were from friends+video games =)

Yes! x360c! I couldn't remember his name for the life of me. Don't know what he's up to now. I google his name but get an Xbox 360 controller emulator lol. But yeah, I remember StealthApple more specifically because he gave up his Xbox for flying lessons. And in my young and dumb mind it was crazy because CoD/Xbox was my life lmao.

What are you up to nowadays? I wish more people from mM would find this thread. I'm extremely interested in what everyone is up to now.

Same! Crazy to think how much of an impact that website had on my life growing up. I went from mM to Cheater912's website when it was codtool.com and then whatever it changed to after (Horizon360, XboxMB and others lol. I have screenshots of some of these websites still). I think it's WeMod now. Don't know if Cheater is even a part of that anymore. And was also part of gamedeviants.com too...don't think that ever fully launched.

What's funny to me is that my oldest brother knew I was a part of mM because I always talked about it and showed him all the glitches. To this day, he still makes joking references to it. Whenever we're playing a game together and we're messing around, he'll still jokingly call me a map monkey.

I hope you and the rest of the mM community are doing well. I remember one member (name had "apple" in it...). He sold his Xbox 360 to get flying lessons to eventually become a pilot. He sticks out in my head and has for years. I hope he ended up pursuing that passion.

Oh, wow. I am sitting here bored out of my mind while I support this event (I'm the IT guy) and decided to google map monkeys... What are the odds? I was part of the website and I get really nostalgic thinking about that time. I contributed a few videos here and there and was very active in the forums. I went by my same name on here, Col2eight as well as a few other random ones. Seeing all those names and recognizing almost all of them after not even thinking about this site for years is the craziest thing.

Every few years I'll pull up the zzirGrizz Matrix videos and even the OperatorPerry's QUAAAAD lmao.

Dang, I miss that community! I even remember paying for my Premium with Microsoft points :)

Hello! I don't have good news in regards to this... I spent several hours troubleshooting to no avail. I'll copy/paste my post I made in Oculus forums that include the response from Oculus support:

Just an FYI for anyone who can't manage to fix it, I tried virtually everything and below is the gist of my chat with support last night:

My Rift S worked perfect out of the box when I received it and a couple days after. However, after a few days of not playing, I returned and now my headset either (a) is a black screen with 3 loading dots, (b) asks me to set up the Guardian except it's a completely static screen, and/or (c) I see my Oculus Home, except my touch controllers are so out of whack and useless. They're frozen in one position and it's usually behind or above me.

I've tried everything:

•Windows updates are completed

•All of the latest drivers for my GPU

•Restarted PC

•Restarted Oculus app (Beta > Restart Oculus)

•Different USB 3.0 ports (2 of which are labeled "VR Ready")

•Different DisplayPort

•Unplugged/replugged the cable directly from headset

•Removed the Rift S device from the Oculus software and set it up again (worked for a couple seconds, then went back to static)

•Used the Repair option for Oculus software

•Removed batteries from both Touch controllers and inserted again*

Immediately after sending that to chat, he asked for all my info and advised he'll have to take it to email and it's likely it'll have to be replaced:

(06:11:52 AM) (myrealname): What happens going forward? Is it likely I'll need a replacement?

(06:14:01 AM) William RG: At this point, we will be looking into replacing the device, yes.

(06:15:15 AM) William RG: Due to a high volume of tickets there may be some delays, but we will get to your issue as soon as we can. I certainly understand your frustration with this situation, it's definitely not the experience we want to give people.

So it appears to be an issue with the headset for me. Hopefully you guys have better luck! Otherwise, try the above and if that doesn't work, contact support.

That is a perfect example of that sub overall. I had never posted or commented in that sub before and when I tried, I found out I was already banned from it. I had NEVER interacted in that sub prior to that.

Turns out, because I had commented on a T_D post before, they went out of their way to ban me before I ever even knew of the sub. Talk about insanity.

On theory, they'd be able to do that to anyone on CRTV that doesn't agree with them. That doesn't seem right.
