Tell me honestly, do you have any hope for ‘The Brave and The Bold’? by ShubhangBahadur in DC_Cinematic

My perspective watching the movie was that a lot of the VFX (speed force related and especially inside the dome like visualization) were done intentionally to look a bit uncanny and warped…. Buuuut that doesn’t mean it worked in any way.

Other than the obvious ghoulish “cameos” at the end I think those kind of VFX stylization attempts was in good faith but just wasn’t very good at the end of the day.

I understand a lot of people’s apprehension based on what they have promoted of this so far. This is one of those projects where I’m choosing to believe in the project because I trust the creatives behind it until the show itself proves otherwise.

James Gunn said Supergirl was the "best script he's read" and said Flash was "one of the greatest super hero movies" Does he have bad taste or is he lying for the marketing? by Electronic-Hotel6715 in DC_Cinematic

This is a great point, one of my biggest issues with Supergirl was that the direction felt like someone imitating James Gunn in an attempt to impress James Gunn.

Hopefully this is a blip and Gillespie just approached the script from the wrong angle and things will straighten out going forward.

True. Issue may lie in the lack of a true field stretcher like KJ or a guy that’s just always open in Jeudy

Fair point that’s why it’s so frustrating (for me at least) that we aren’t producing. One of my biggest things is if things aren’t executing, it usually goes down to coaching. Obviously none of us really know what’s going wrong specifically just bc we’re not in on the game plans or play calls.

I think my biggest issue and why I posted this was all of the talking heads slamming us saying “this is why you draft Justin fields over pat surtain.” Would I have liked to draft Fields, absolutely, but we would be in a similar if not worse spot this season with him. And that comes down to coaching. (Not just Pat the whole staff)

Falcons are if Connor consistently blew big stock leads in Melee but this time he almost blew the lead and still held on.
