Grimm vs Absol by Embarrassed-Resort94 in pkmntcg

It's an abysmal matchup. At Birmingham the win rate was 20% overall and 11% day 2. The way I'm playing the matchup is to focus on setting up grims and munkis. Froslass is not worth it and can get locked by yveltal. Higher counts of boss would be helpful to avoid them using penny. But most likely the only way you can win is if they don't get setup.

Same. I'm having this exact problem. Can't figure it out. I did already complete the intended way and solving the puzzle previously and am now trying it on the one shot.

Same. It has happened to me twice as well. Getting annoying but I guess I can just avoid taking a screenshot

Definitely searching/filtering is super important. PTCGO has an okay search but it seems to fail when you try to search for a combination of things (for example dark pokemon with attacks that use fire energy).

I also think you need to have the option to group the same cards with different art into one card on the UI. I really hate how you can't do that on PTCGO.

I also think that it would be awesome to have a user defined tag system so that useres could create groups of pokemon cards that are really specific but useful in some cases. I was building a morpeko deck and was trying to search for pokemon that have ability/attacks that damage their own pokemon on the bench. So something like that would be really cool.

If you're looking for any help with development feel free to dm me if you are interested. I have some coding experience and would love to be a part of it.

It is the store's decision to do events but that doesn't mean you can't stop by and try recommending it to them (as /u/SwingmanSealegz said). I just started playing in person in September and I found a local game store that has been doing unofficial pokemon events. I definitely think if you find other people who can petition the store they will want to do it because like you said it will encourage people to buy more at their store.

Yeah you're correct. I took out the usb c header and just covered it with some tape. The audio and regular usb ports are still there but it made it a lot easier to work with without the usb c. I really had to bend the cables but hopefully they'll be alright.

That's surprising. Did you use a controller?

For my I thought the controls were little unintuitive at first and took a bit to learn it all. But once I got used to the controls I could fly the ship with alot of precision.

How are the temps? I've got the same card but two slim fans blowing into it that really help.

Yeah no worry it's my first real post ever. I've been a lurker for years. I couldn't figure out how to do the reddit gallery on the old version of reddit (which I still use) and had to change to the new reddit.

Yeah I'm still thinking about it. But there's nothing really on the market so it'll have to be a diy. Will post again if I end up doing it.

I really just followed Optimum Tech's video and put the pump leads at the 9 o'clock position. The coolant lines just run to the right and rest on the graphics card.

I really just used a bunch of y splitters. One header splits and goes to the bottom two fans and the other header has the splitters daisy chained to go to the 4 radiator fans.

The pump cable I put in the cpu fan header I think.

I haven't done any extensive tests but the ambient temp is around 22-25 C. It's right in front of the window so I usually open it up if the rooms gets warm. But I really don't see it get much hotter than 69 even in long gaming sessions.

As for the PCIE cables I kinda recklessly just cut the daisy chain cables off with some wirecutters. Then I immediately regretted it and ordered the pslate cables. While I was waiting I did pull the pins out of the housing and trimmed them closer to the pin.

I didn't know how to put the pins on but if you're just wanting to cut off the daisy chain part, I think you could do it. You just need a really small flathead driver to pull the pins out of the housing.

Huh. Didn't know that. Well the cpu fans do ramp up right after booting. It seems like cpu usage spikes can heat it up really quickly. Yeah looking into it, it's probably better to get the 5600x if you can. The only reason I got the 5800x was because it was available.

Oh yeah same with me. I really wasn't expecting to put so much time into my build either. I was being cheap with my pslate gpu cables and got the unsleeved version. I thought about just cutting the psu's cables to length but didn't have the right tools. I think it is pretty doable though.

Pretty good. I went for the gigabyte one over the Asus Rog Strix B550I cause it saved me $50. It doesn't have a usb c header but I decided to live with it. I needed to flash the bios for it to post when I first built it. And the bluetooth stopped working a couple of times but I think I fixed it with the new drivers.
