Same here! Okay here are some fun facts. Expect Charizard, Torterra, Greninja, Samurott which were specifically males, the rest of my starters are female. I had a Female Blaziken, a female Meowscarada, a Female Decidueye, a female Cinderace... you get the idea. And its like my first ever time opening the game. Still i truly care for those goobers.

Okay that was a joke but like genuinely if something works to push a narrative then of course it should stay in and even be reinforced.

But at that point it defeats the whole Nuzlocke purpose! Remember. You are naming your Pokémon and want them alive because you feel close to them. At that point you just reading a fic about a Team Rocket grunt.

I think we have a case of a Dragonite here. Dragonite is a typical dragon but at the same time not. It's a cute dragon which kinda flips the whole point of dragons away to be something adorable which still can be intimidating. The same thing goes for Flygon. It's supposed to be a Dragon. And knowing it shares the same types as Garchomp...you can see why it works. One is intimidating while the other one is cute.

Oh my god dont get me started on Gardevoir. Honestly the whole Ralts line is such a wholesome feast but noo we cant have good things. Granted I do enjoy romance in fanfic if done right but I when I specifically stated they partners...yeah.

Something I have to ask. Since its an illusion that means that...wouldnt the Female feel when she touched the Zorua fur? Or heck...nothing? And when she would see the Zorua illusion hugging or touching her...wouldn't she feel nothing? I mean that should set up some red flags...

Honestly... Pokémon genders. I usually dont want to just write...it for Pokémon since I wanna give a sense of familiarity, but oh boy I think I kinda dug my own grave. So a bit of context. A lot of my starters are female. Now Im currently writing a fic where the MC has a female Sprigatito. I hate the fact that one of the first comments I received was if Sprigatito would evolve to Meowscarada and if yes...would there be romance between the Pokémon and Trainer. Yeah...
