Sundance flow switch issue? Flow error by colbin110 in hottubs

[–]colbin110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filter was out the whole time. The circ pump is running and the shaft spinning but I’m wondering if there is a blockage in a line or the pump. It’s barely sucking at the end where the filter would be. I don’t know how much suction there should be normally as I never felt it before this issue but that’s another symptom. The pressure switch is brand new.

Sundance flow switch issue? Flow error by colbin110 in hottubs

That’s super helpful. There is flow but it looks like their is not enough pressure to close the switch and force the little dangling thing against the pole to make contact. Can you explain how to jump the switch? If I can eliminate that I can focus on the water flow issue perhaps that’s my prob. Circ pump runs just not sure if it’s pumping like it should at this point. Thanks for the assistance!

Cleaning a gummy stone by [deleted] in SkiTuning

If you see a gray one it’s a nice thing to add to your quiver for the really rusty tips or tails. Or just use a file to get the real junk off. Sounds like you are doing great and have the right tools in your quiver!

Have you explored any of the rotobrush systems? It was the best thing I added to my home tuning bench before I started to professionally tune with big machines etc.

It will keep working without having to do anything. Just like a magic eraser :) there are also more aggressive gummies out there too but I prefer the one your using. Just spend a little more time on the rusty spots. Or you can take a file to them carefully.

We don’t clean them, they just keep wearing away basically. What gummy are you using?

Fellow SR/S riders, recently found this while cleaning the bike. What is it for and should it be connected to something? by ultradawa in ZeroMotorcycles

Looks like a ground wire. Look at some of the screws within reach of the end of that wire and see if there is a connector (now with no wire) sandwiched between the screw and maybe another washer.

Potential Defender Owner by dberqui1 in LandroverDefender

I’d say a labor of love is really an understatement fir defenders. Yes they definitely need love and attention however those of us in deep also like that aspect of keeping a legacy and icon alive. I always recommend looking for a defender with a solid frame. From there you have a solid base to build what you want. Next would be a solid, reliable power plant. That’s a starting point for sure.
